🌿🌸 A Beautiful Day at PowellsWood Garden! 🌸🌿

Residents, family members, and guests enjoyed a wonderful outing to the breathtaking PowellsWood Garden, where winding pathways, colorful blooms, and peaceful garden spaces created the perfect setting for a summer adventure.

Guests explored the stunning grounds, discovered charming garden features, relaxed among the flowers, and shared plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. The beautiful weather made the experience even more special as everyone enjoyed the sights, sounds, and serenity of one of our area's hidden treasures.

A lovely outdoor lunch and great company made for a memorable day filled with friendship, fresh air, and appreciation for nature's beauty.

📸 Seniors Night Out was an incredible success! 💃🕺

More than 100 residents, family members, and guests came together for an unforgettable evening filled with music, dancing, laughter, and friendship.

In partnership with the talented instructors from Arthur Murray Dance Studio, the dance floor was alive all night long as guests danced, celebrated, and made lasting memories. The evening featured fantastic entertainment, wonderful company, and a joyful atmosphere that truly felt like a senior prom done right.

A special thank you to the Federal Way Community Center for graciously hosting this amazing event, and to Chef Brent for putting together a fantastic dinner spread that helped make the evening even more special.

And finally, a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Executive Director, Esther, whose vision, dedication, and countless hours of planning brought this event to life. Her attention to every detail helped create a truly magical evening for everyone who attended.

The smiles, laughter, and packed dance floor said it all—Seniors Night Out was a night to remember! ❤️✨

Resident Steve and CNA Francine brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and energy to today's session!

Resident Dayton shared this fantastic photo after spotting a great blue heron at our frog pond this afternoon.

As Dayton put it:

"I was down at the frog pond this afternoon and saw this BIG bird. It did not tell me how to get to Sesame Street. Esther said he comes around every year." 😄

We're grateful to Dayton for capturing and sharing this beautiful moment. It's always a treat to see our returning feathered visitor and to be reminded of the natural beauty right here on our campus.

Village Green is partnering with the Federal Way Community Center and Arthur Murray for a special evening of live music, dinner, dancing, and great company! 💃🕺
Join us on June 5th from 6–8 PM for a fun social evening featuring:
🍽️ Dinner
🎵 Live music
💃 Dancing & dance instruction
😊 New friends and familiar faces

No dance experience needed — just come ready to have fun! Dress up or keep it casual and bring a friend along for the evening.

🌱 One Last Post for the Day! 🌱

There’s always something growing at Village Green—sometimes friendships, sometimes memories, and sometimes vegetables! 😊

We wanted to take a moment to show off our beautiful resident-cared-for Victory Garden beds. These gardens are lovingly tended by residents who enjoy getting their hands in the soil, spending time outdoors, and watching their hard work come to life.

From planting and watering to harvesting and sharing gardening tips, our Victory Garden is a wonderful example of the pride, purpose, and community spirit that make Village Green such a special place to call home. 🌼🥕🍅

A big thank you to all of our resident gardeners for helping keep these beds looking so beautiful. We can't wait to see what grows next!

🎷🌿 Concert on the Green was a hit! 🌿🎷

Residents gathered outdoors to enjoy an afternoon of fantastic live jazz, beautiful weather, and even better company. Our talented musicians kept toes tapping while neighbors relaxed, visited, and soaked in the atmosphere.

A special thank you to Chef Brent, who prepared an incredible meal that made the event even more memorable. Great music, great food, and great friends—it doesn't get much better than that!

We're already looking forward to doing it all again. Join us next month for another Concert on the Green! 🎶☀️
