When the world feels overwhelming, isolating, or heavy, connection can be a lifeline, especially in BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People Of Color) communities. This BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month, TCCH is uplifting our BIPOC mental health resources in July and beyond.

Today’s “Did You Know?” highlights one of the many resources available in Indian River County: United Against Poverty’s Member Share Grocery Program, which provides affordable groceries and household essentials to qualifying families earning up to 300% of the federal poverty level.

The Executive Roundtable of Indian River County brings community leaders together to better understand what our families need and help connect them with resources and support that can help them thrive.

Together, we can make sure more of our neighbors know where to turn for support.

"I initially objected to moving and living in Indian River County. I have really good Medicare insurance and could go anywhere, I was receiving care at Jupiter Medical Center, which is very far away, and I was concerned about the quality of care with my complex medical history. After moving, a community member suggested Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH) as a closer alternative. I soon realized: this is not your normal community clinic. My husband and I were very impressed with the facilities. The employees are so welcoming, lab and x-ray are on site, and the locations are scrupulously clean and quiet. It was a blessing to find a place that welcomed us with such kindness. Everything was perfection. TCCH had everything we needed.”
