Dr. Borenitsch is a 2nd generation family medicine physician who knew he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps from a young age. He is originally from Manistee, Michigan having attended Manistee Catholic Central from preschool through high school graduation. While there he played a number of sports, particularly excelling in basketball and baseball. Notably, he suffered a fracture of his spin

e from football that would later alter his approach to underlying chronic pain conditions. He went on to study at Michigan State University for his undergraduate degree (Human Biology), Masters in Public Health, as well as his Medical Degree from the school of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency training at Mercy Health in Muskegon, Michigan. Among his areas of interest in medicine include preventative care and lifestyle medicine while giving his patients autonomy in their care. He is also compassionate toward caring for patients with complex medical conditions with higher burdens of chronic illness as well as chronic pain management and mental health conditions. While not working he enjoys spending time with his 2 dalmatians, Victoria and Charlie. He remains a sports fan, particular an avid basketball fan - rooting on the Detroit Pistons and Michigan State Spartans. He enjoys exploring new culinary experiences - be it cooking or trying new restaurants. With his Direct Primary Care practice he aims on providing greater time to focus on his patients' needs while also allowing for same or next day availability - including after hours access for patients to speak to a health care provider who is familiar with them no matter the time of day.

Hey folks. Just giving some updates. I am now open and am working through my waitlists. I'm also going to plan on integrating some Meet and Greet dates in the near future for those of you that may not be familiar with Direct Primary Care and/or myself and would like to learn more before potentially signing up. Right now I am generally doing clinic days Monday through Friday in the afternoons after 1 PM as well as appointments upon request outside of that time frame.
