We had such a wonderful time at Vicinia Gardens celebrating the one and only Dolly Parton! 🌸🎶💗

For so many of our residents, Dolly’s music brought back some pretty special memories—cooking in the kitchen with her songs playing, gathering around the television to watch the Grand Ole Opry, enjoying her unforgettable movies, and singing along to songs that have been part of their lives for decades. 🎵📺🍳

There was plenty of pink, laughter, music, reminiscing, and good old-fashioned fun! 💕 Dolly has a special way of bringing generations together through her music, movies, humor, kindness, and that unmistakable sparkle. ✨

Days like this remind us that music is so much more than entertainment—it takes us right back to the people, places, and moments we treasure. ❤️

Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of those who help make our communities stronger every day. We hope you take time to relax, enjoy the day, and appreciate all that your hard work has accomplished. ✨

🕺✨ GREASER ERA: SIP & SOCIAL! ✨🕺

Last week, The Independent was transported straight back to the 1950s for another fabulous SIP & Social hosted by our very own Jade! 🎶🍹

This month’s theme? Greaser Era — James Dean style!😎🔥 Our residents were encouraged to dress their best and bring their inner greaser to life… and WOW, did they deliver!

🏆🥇 Resident Clayton Stone took home the GOLD! He absolutely nailed the look and earned those bragging rights! 👏😎

The fun didn’t stop there! Residents enjoyed The Price Is Right🎯💰 and 50s Edition Rivia 🧠🎶, all while sipping on signature themed drinks in Steffey’s Pub 🍹🍸.

From the music and memories to the costumes and laughter, it was another fantastic afternoon filled with fun, friendship, and a whole lot of nostalgia! ❤️

A big thank-you to Jade for always bringing the fun and creating experiences our residents look forward to! 🌟
