Halloween is all about creative costumes, fun makeup and spooky fun, but protecting your eyes should always be part of the plan! Before heading out for Halloween festivities, keep these eye safety tips in mind:
Choose eye-safe makeup: Use products specifically designed for use around the eyes, and avoid applying makeup too close to the eyes. Check your costume mask: Make sure it fits properly and doesn’t block your vision. Be careful with decorative contact lenses: Only use properly prescribed lenses from a qualified eye care professional to help prevent irritation, infection, and injury.
