A Week Full of Smiles at Strive Senior Living!

What a wonderful week it has been at Strive Senior Living! Our residents have been staying busy, having fun, sharing plenty of laughs, and—most importantly—making memories together.

From engaging activities and friendly competition to creative moments and quality time with friends, there’s always something happening at Strive! We love seeing our residents enjoying each day and making our community feel like home.

Resident Spotlight: Meet Dale Bifulco!

This month, we’re excited to shine our Resident Spotlight on the wonderful Dale Bifulco! Born and raised along the Jersey Shore in New Jersey, Dale has lived a life filled with service, compassion, and a love for helping others. She is the proud mom of two amazing sons and a very proud grandmother to one grandbaby! Dale proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1981–1983 as an Environmental Health Specialist. Following her military service, she held several different jobs, but her favorite work was always caring for others as a Medical Assistant, CNA, and private-duty caregiver. Her caring heart began at a young age. In her late teens, Dale helped care for her father, who had multiple sclerosis—an experience that helped shape her lifelong passion for supporting and helping others. And when Dale isn’t lending a helping hand, you just might find her dancing and enjoying life! We are so happy to have Dale as part of our Strive Senior Living family. Please help us celebrate Dale and thank her for her service to our country!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MEET JAY!

This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Jay, one of the wonderful members of our culinary team here at Strive Senior Living! Born and raised right here in Orlando, Jay has been cooking professionally since 2018 and brings his passion for food and teamwork into the kitchen every day. Before beginning his culinary journey, Jay attended La Salle University in Pennsylvania, where he played Division 1 water polo! Jay is a proud husband and dad who truly values being part of a team and helping those around him succeed. When he’s not in the kitchen, you can find him cooking at home, watching TV, or enjoying a relaxing walk. We’re grateful to have Jay as part of the Strive Senior Living family and appreciate everything he does to help provide delicious meals and great experiences for our residents!

V 3 Capital, Strive, and Classic Home Health have teamed up for a Back-to-School Supply Drive benefiting the Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families!

Help us make sure local kids start the school year fully equipped! Shop our Amazon Wish List and have supplies shipped straight to the Howards Phillips Center or drop off donations at V 3 Capital (496 S Hunt Club Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703) or Strive (7255 Strive Place, Fern Park, FL 32730). We'll be collecting donations until the end of August, so every notebook, backpack, and box of crayons counts.

Last night, our residents had the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful fireworks display, creating wonderful memories together as we celebrated our nation’s independence. There’s nothing quite like seeing smiles light up the night sky alongside the fireworks! Today, we wish all of our residents, families, team members, and community partners a safe, joyful, and memorable Fourth of July. Thank you for being part of the Strive Senior Living family. Here’s to celebrating freedom, making cherished memories, and enjoying time with the people who matter most. Happy Independence Day!

Our First Annual Resident Fashion Show was an incredible success, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped make it such a memorable event! Our residents truly stole the show as they walked the runway with confidence, style, and plenty of smiles. Seeing their personalities shine and the joy on their faces reminded us why moments like these are so special. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our residents’ families and loved ones who came to cheer them on. Your support, encouragement, and presence made the day even more meaningful. It was wonderful to see so many families celebrating alongside us and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to our amazing team for helping bring this event to life and making sure our residents felt like the stars they are. We are already looking forward to making next year’s fashion show even bigger and better! At Strive Assisted Living & Memory Care, we’re not just creating events—we’re creating moments, memories, and reasons to smile every day.

Today we celebrate the incredible fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and father figures who have filled our lives with strength, wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love. Thank you for the sacrifices you made, the lessons you taught, and the memories you continue to create every day.

We are so honored to celebrate the amazing men in our community who have built families, served others, shared stories, and continue to inspire us daily with their kindness and resilience.
