This is Marie Tiemersma’s new Mare Espirit (Spree)! She is a 24 year old Quarab and is in beautiful condition. She has a wonderful disposition and I hear she is a pleasure to ride. I started bodywork with her today. She has some compensatory patterns and tight areas that will respond well to Structural Integration. I will return next week for another bodywork session and will teach Marie therapeutic exercises to help with getting her nice and balanced. I also checked her saddle today and adjusted the fit. It was a very fun session and Marie is such a great match for her! ♥️

Today I started working with Major and his owner Sandra. Major is a Quarter Horse Friesian cross. He has lumbar kissing spine. He’s a good boy under saddle but has trouble picking up his hind feet for the farrier. I did his first bodywork session and he has tight areas but nothing too alarming. I instructed in core activation and strengthening exercises that Sandra will work on. I will continue bodywork sessions to release his compensatory patterns and insure he has a well fitting saddle. He will benefit from continued core exercises and learning how to carry himself correctly which will build up his topline and protect his spine. He’s such a lovely horse and will have a very bright future! ❤️

The weather is getting nicer and it’s a great time to schedule your horse’s bodywork! It’s a great way to keep your horse moving well and prevent injury. From rehab to maintenance I’m happy to help! Nick says hurray for better weather!
