Our choices affect their lives.

Every purchase we make. Every resource we use. Every decision about how we live on this planet creates ripples that extend far beyond ourselves.

The natural world isn't something separate from us. It's our shared home. The forests, rivers, oceans, and wildlife all depend on the choices we make today.

At Wildflower, we believe stewardship begins with small acts of care. When enough people choose compassion, sustainability, and respect for the Earth, those choices add up to something powerful. Today, let's remember that we're not just inhabitants of this planet. We're neighbors.

Be a good friend and neighbor to wildlife. đź’š

One of the most common questions people ask me is:

“How did you get into this work?”

The truth is… not in my wildest—or tamest—imaginations did I think I’d become a funeral director.

About 19 years ago, I was working as a cabinet and furniture maker in a woodworking shop that specialized in local and sustainably harvested woods. One conversation about a simple pine casket unexpectedly sent me down a rabbit hole that would completely change the course of my life.

In this reel, I share the story of how discovering green burial reshaped the way I think about death, our relationship with the Earth, and what meaningful end-of-life care can look like.

At the time, almost nobody knew what green burial was. But something about it resonated with me so deeply that I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Looking back now, it feels like all the different parts of my life eventually found a home in this work.

And I’m honored to continue that journey today at Wildflower. 🌿

As Memorial Day approaches, all of us at Wildflower pause with gratitude and remembrance for those who gave their lives in service to others.

We honor the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the men and women who served our nation, and we hold close the families and loved ones who carry their memory forward.

At Wildflower, it is a deep privilege to walk alongside veterans and their families during life’s most meaningful transitions, offering compassionate care, thoughtful guidance, and farewell options that reflect dignity, respect, and personal values.

As we reflect on service and stewardship, we also remain committed to caring for the Earth we all share. Through offerings such as green burial, aquamation, and terramation, we strive to provide meaningful, earth-conscious choices that honor both the lives of our loved ones and the natural world that sustains us.

This Memorial Day, we remember with gratitude, humility, and respect. 🇺🇸🌿

It’s Thankful Thursday 🌿

In the middle of busy days, uncertainty, and all the noise of life, gratitude has a way of bringing us back to what matters most.

Today, we’d love to hear from you:

🪴 What are three things you’re thankful for today?

Big or small. Deep or simple.
A person. A moment. A memory. A cup of coffee. Sunshine through the trees.

Let’s fill this space with gratitude together. 🌎

“I don’t care what happens to my body after I die.”

It’s something many people say. Maybe because for so long, it felt like there were only a couple options—and neither one truly reflected the values we lived by.

But something remarkable happens when people discover there are other ways.

Ways that feel more natural.
More meaningful.
More connected to the Earth and the cycles of life.

In this video, Brian shares why so many people move from “I don’t care” to “I care deeply” when they learn about options like green burial, aquamation, and human composting.

Because maybe it’s not just about what happens after we die.

Maybe it’s about making even our final act reflect how we chose to live. 🌿
