Every business has a story, and Save 1 CPR started with a simple goal. As a licensed paramedic, Amanda Zimmerman was looking for a way to teach life-saving skills outside of her work on the road. What began as teaching CPR classes one person at a time out of her living room quickly grew into something much larger.

Along the way, Amanda was told by someone that she would never be able to turn CPR training into a successful business. Instead of listening to the doubters, she continued teaching, continued growing, and continued helping people gain the confidence to respond during emergencies. Today, Save 1 CPR provides CPR and First Aid training throughout Michigan, offers Nurse Assistant Training Programs, serves businesses, schools, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, and continues to expand its impact every year.

Sometimes the best success stories begin when someone refuses to accept someone else's limitations. We're proud of how far we've come and excited about where we're headed next.

Amanda Zimmerman, owner of Save 1 CPR, originally started teaching as something extra alongside her work as a licensed paramedic. What began as small one-on-one classes quickly grew through hard work, passion, and word of mouth. Along the way, Amanda was even told she would never be able to turn it into a real business. Today, Save 1 CPR provides CPR training throughout Michigan, operates multiple locations, offers mobile training services, and continues helping schools, businesses, healthcare workers, and everyday individuals feel more confident during emergencies.

Owned by Amanda Zimmerman, Save 1 CPR offers mobile CPR training throughout Michigan and surrounding states along with classes at their Ferndale and Southgate locations. They also operate a Nurse Assistant Training Program designed to help people build healthcare skills and career opportunities. This Memorial Day, all of us at Save 1 CPR want to take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. As an organization dedicated to teaching people how to protect and save lives during emergencies, we deeply respect the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness shown by those who served others before themselves.

Memorial Day is more than a holiday weekend. It is a time to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of the sacrifices made by heroes who never made it home and the families who continue carrying their memory forward every day.
