Hancock Public Health

Hancock Public Health wishes to provide public health information and discussion of public health issues in formats utilized by the citizens of Hancock County. Facebook provides a method of providing information rapidly to the general public. We wish to promote a respectful format for this to occur, free of promotion of products or services for self-interest. POLICY STATEMENT
All links posted as comments on Hancock Public Health page will be reviewed and may be deleted.

-Hate speech, profanity, obscenity or vulgarity;
-Nudity in pictures;
-Defamation, name calling/and or personal attacks to a person or people, or HPH employee;
-Spam comments, such as the same/similar comment(s) posted repeatedly on a profile;
-Comments that would disclose Protected Health Information;
-Comments that include promotion of events, groups, pages, websites, organizations and programs not related to or affiliated with HPH; or
-Other comments that HPH deems inappropriate. Repeated violations of HPH’s comment policy may cause the author to be blocked from the HPH page. Information posted on any of our social media platforms shouldn’t be considered medical advice and shouldn’t replace a consultation with a healthcare professional. HPH will make reasonable efforts to monitor and/or moderate content posted on its social media platforms; however, we cannot always respond in a timely manner to online requests for information. By submitting content to HPH’s page, you understand and acknowledge that this information is available to the public.
