Me and my HuMom enjoy being a part of the Dane County Regional Airport Therapy Dog Program. Yesterday we had fun showing how awesome therapy dogs are. Can you believe we now have 28 teams that visit the Madison airport. Out of all the Airports in the US, our airport has one of the largest contingencies of Therapy Dog Teams.
As you travel through different Airports, you can visit Airport Therapy Dogs to see if those Airports have therapy dogs volunteering.

I went to Vet School Tuesday. The Mowat Lab at UW-Madison is doing a research study about the behavior of dogs in relation to watching videos on screens (versus real-world objects), and their interest in interacting with novel and familiar scents/smells. I got an eye exam, watched animals ans stuff on tv and then smelled a much of stuff. My participation will also help in studying human vision issues.
It was fun and treats were involved. Plus during technical difficulties I got to sleep. And the A/C was working super good. I was happy!!

It Brat Fest Time.

Several of the Dogs On Call members volunteered for this year's Brat Fest. Here are two DOC members Anja (condiment tent) and my mom (grilling) on Friday.

There are over 100 charities who benefit from the Brat Fest by receiving $12/volunteer hour. Since 1983 over $2 million has been raised and donated to local charities.

During the event over 200,000 brats are sold and over 3,200 people volunteer.
