Update: They ended up doing a CT not an MRI. The CT came back as no change from December imaging. So Neurosurgery stepped aside and we spoke with Neurology. The on-call Neurologist was able to get in touch with who Caroline sees regularly. They did go ahead and increase seizure meds and we are to follow-up with Neurology to set up an extended EEG test. She was discharged and we have made it home safely. Thank you for all of the prayers!

So, Caroline had a typical check-up this morning with Neurosurgery because they had not seen her since December.

Some of the "straining/episodes" Caroline was having during that appointment (along with other concerns Aaron & I had) raised concerns with the dr. He is concerned the episodes are seizure like activity.

We are currently in the ER waiting for a CT scan to make sure shunts are good.

*She can get a CT done quicker via ER rather than trying to get an appointment outpatient.

As long as shunts are good, Neurosurgery will step aside.

Then it will be up to Neurology to see if they want an extended EEG or just increase the seizure meds.

Please keep her in your prayers that all is need is an increase in meds.

Yesterday was Caroline's awards day at PreK. Unfortunately we already had doctor appointments scheduled. But she received the Eagle award.

It says: "Eagles are known for their eyesight. The eagle award goes to a student who is empathetic and can always see the perspective of others."

Well, tonight we laid Caroline down and didn't give the pacifier. She's sound asleep.

I think Daddy's more heart broken about it than Caroline.
