Today, we’re celebrating someone who means so much to the Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation family, Mary Mel!

Mary has been a valued part of our team for an incredible 15 years! Throughout the years, she has not only been one of our outstanding CNAs, but she has also gone above and beyond to lend a helping hand in every department.

Her dedication, kindness, hard work, and willingness to help wherever she is needed make her truly special. We are so grateful for the heart and compassion she brings to our residents and her fellow team members every day.

Mary, thank you for 15 amazing years of dedication and for being such an important part of our family! We are so lucky to have you! 💙💚

One of our favorite residents, Valerie, made a wonderful discovery while enjoying a walk outside. A new little turtle friend! 🐢

Valerie shared her discovery with everyone, and we all had the chance to enjoy a little moment of learning, exploring, and connecting with nature. After our fun encounter, we made sure our new friend was safely set free to head back to his turtle family. 💚

This past Saturday, our administrative team was excited to host a Staff Fun Day for all of our amazing staff and their families! 😄

We got to enjoy a lot of laughs, good food, and a great time together! This special day was our way of saying thank you to our incredible team for the compassion, dedication, and hard work they show our residents every day.

We are truly grateful for each and every member of the Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation. We couldn't do it without you! 💙

At Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation, we had some fun in the sun with our very own wheelchair car wash! We took our residents outside, gave their wheelchairs a good scrub, and enjoyed plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. 🧽🪣🫧

From rolling through the water to sharing laughs with friends and staff, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with sunshine, fresh air, and lots of fun. We love creating moments that keep our residents smiling! 😁💙

At Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation, we believe that caring for our community extends far beyond our walls. We're honored to provide lunch for the wonderful seniors at the Mills River Life Enrichment Center, an outreach ministry dedicated to supporting older adults who are aging at home.

The Life Enrichment Center is so much more than a gathering place. It's a community filled with friendship, engaging activities, encouragement, and compassion. Their team works tirelessly to ensure local seniors remain connected, active, and supported.

A very special shout-out goes to their incredible director, Ms. Ruth Williams, our very own superstar! Ruth pours her heart into serving others and goes above and beyond every single day to make a difference in the lives of so many. Her kindness, dedication, and passion for helping others inspire everyone who has the privilege of knowing her.

We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with such an amazing organization and to spend time with these wonderful members of our community. Thank you, Ms. Ruth and the entire Mills River Life Enrichment Center, for all that you do! 💙

We enjoyed the 4th of July holiday with a fun-filled cookout at Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation! ❤️🤍💙

Our residents enjoyed spending time outdoors, sharing great conversations, and savoring delicious hot dogs while celebrating together. 🌭

A huge thank you to our amazing Kitchen Staff and Activities Department for all of your hard work in making this event such a success. Your dedication and teamwork created a wonderful afternoon for everyone to enjoy.

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence. A milestone that honors the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit that have shaped our nation since 1776.

As we reflect on this historic anniversary, we are especially grateful for the veterans, service members, first responders, healthcare professionals, and all those who continue to serve our communities with dedication and compassion.
