Every year on August 7, we observe Purple Heart Day to honor the brave U.S. military service members who were wounded or lost their lives in combat while defending our nation. The Purple Heart is one of America's oldest and most respected military decorations, first established by George Washington in 1782 as the Badge of Military Merit and later revived as the Purple Heart in 1932.

Today, we remember their extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and selfless service. At Spring Gardens, we proudly honor our veterans and thank all who have served our country with bravery and dedication. ❤️🤍💙
