Don’t Build A Home In The Place You Fell

“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise…”
— Micah 7:8 (KJV)

Everyone falls at some point.

Some fall into addiction.
Some fall into depression.
Some fall into anger.
Some fall into fear.
Some simply fall under the weight of life.

The shame is not in falling.

The shame is believing the lie that you have to stay there.

God never intended for the place where you fell to become the place where you live.

If you stumbled today, don’t unpack your bags there. Don’t set up camp in guilt, regret, or self-condemnation.

His mercy is still reaching.
His grace is still sufficient.
His hand is still extended.

The same God who helps people stand after they fall is still working in your life tonight.

Rest knowing this:

You may have fallen, but you are not finished.

Lord Jesus,
I honor you for not leaving me and making me stay in the messes and in the fallen state I’ve been in. Help me to rise out it and to keep growing and keep blossoming in all you have for me.
In Jesus name!!!

Get Back Up

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…”
— Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)

Nobody likes to fall.

We don’t like making mistakes. We don’t like setbacks. We don’t like relapses, bad decisions, bad days, or moments when we feel weak.

But falling isn’t what defines you.

The righteous person in Proverbs fell too. The difference was not that they never hit the ground—it was that they refused to stay there.

The enemy wants to convince you that one failure disqualifies you. God says, “Get back up.”

Every time you choose to stand again, you’re proving that your story isn’t over.

Today, don’t focus on how many times you’ve fallen. Focus on the fact that you’re still getting up.

Recovery isn’t about never stumbling. It’s about refusing to quit.

Lord,
I need you to remove the shame that’s trying to dwell within me. I may have fallen and made a mess, but your word says you are rich in mercy. Help me to have the same mercy on myself. Help me to get up and keep going for your glory.
In Jesus name!!!

Keep Pressing

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Think about it.

When we were living for ourselves, we didn’t quit easily. We chased relationships, money, addictions, approval, pleasure, and worldly dreams with relentless determination.

We stayed up late for it.
Spent money on it.
Traveled for it.
Made sacrifices for it.

But now that we belong to Jesus, the enemy wants us to become easily discouraged.

One bad day.
One failure.
One criticism.
One setback.

And suddenly he whispers, “Why keep trying?”

Because Jesus is worth pressing for.

A made-up mind doesn’t mean you never struggle. It means you’ve already decided what you’re going to do when the struggle comes.

Keep praying.
Keep worshipping.
Keep showing up.
Keep trusting.
Keep pressing.

The race isn’t won by those who never face obstacles. It’s won by those who refuse to stop.

You didn’t come this far to quit now.

Tonight’s Challenge

Ask yourself:

“Have I been pursuing Jesus with the same determination I once pursued the things of this world?”

Then make a fresh commitment:

No matter what tomorrow brings, my mind is made up. I’m following Jesus.

Lord,
Show me ways I can pursue you. I used to chase things for peace. But now you are my peace so help me chase you with reckless abandon. I want all of you that I can get.
In Jesus name!!!

The enemy isn’t afraid of a good intention.

He’s afraid of a made-up mind.

He’s afraid of the person who has already decided:

✔️ I’m going to pray even when I don’t feel like it.
✔️ I’m going to worship even when life hurts.
✔️ I’m going to get back up when I fall.
✔️ I’m going to keep following Jesus no matter what.

A made-up mind doesn’t mean you never struggle.

It means you’ve already decided what you’re going to do when the struggle comes.

The enemy knows that if he can get you discouraged, distracted, offended, or weary, he can slow you down.

But when your heart is surrendered and your mind is settled, his tactics lose their power.

Make the devil nervous today.

Not by being perfect.

By being persistent.

🔥 Tell the enemy: “My mind is made up. I’m following Jesus.”

The storm didn’t stop you because your faith carried you.

There will be days when emotions are all over the place. Days when fear is loud. Days when discouragement tries to convince you to quit. Days when you don’t feel strong.

But a made-up mind doesn’t depend on feelings.

It depends on a decision.

A decision that says:
“No matter what comes, I’m still praying.”
“I’m still trusting.”
“I’m still following Jesus.”

Feelings change.
Circumstances change.
People change.

But when your mind is settled on Christ, you can stand in storms that would have destroyed the old version of you.

Don’t let today’s emotions make tomorrow’s decisions.

Anchor yourself in Jesus and keep moving forward.

❤️ If your mind is made up to serve Jesus no matter what, comment: “I’m pressing on!”

A Made Up Mind

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…
— Daniel 1:8 (KJV)

Before Daniel ever stood before kings, interpreted dreams, or survived the lions’ den, he made up his mind.

A made-up mind is powerful.

Before Jesus saved us, many of us chased the things of this world with determination. We found a way to get what we wanted. We sacrificed for it. We pursued it. We rearranged our lives around it.

Why should we be less determined for Christ than we were for the things that once kept us bound?

The enemy knows he cannot easily stop a person whose mind is settled. Circumstances may shake them. People may disappoint them. Temptations may come. But they have already decided who they belong to.

Make up your mind today.

No turning back.
No quitting.
No giving up when it gets hard.

If you fall, get back up.
If you get discouraged, pray.
If you get weary, keep walking.

A made-up mind says, No matter what comes my way, I am going to serve Jesus.

Let’s pray together friends…

Lord,
I need you to settle my heart today. Give me a made-up mind that refuses to quit. Strengthen me to follow You when not just when it’s easy but when it’s hard too. Let my life bring glory to You only.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Somebody needs this reminder today:

Your worst moment did not scare God away.

He saw every failure…
every addiction…
every relapse…
every hidden wound…
and still chose to love you.

Jesus specializes in restoring people who thought their lives were beyond repair.

The enemy wants you ashamed of your scars.
God wants to turn them into a testimony.

You are not too damaged for grace.
You are not too far gone for mercy.
You are not disqualified from being loved.

God is still writing your story.
And He has not given up on you.

Some environments drain you.
Some people wound you.
Some patterns keep reopening what God is trying to heal.

Healing sometimes means walking away from what keeps breaking you.

Not because you hate people…
but because you finally value the peace God is growing inside of you.

You cannot bloom where your soul is constantly being crushed.

God is not calling you backward.
He is calling you higher.

Choose peace.
Choose healing.
Choose the version of you that God is restoring.

🌿 “He restoreth my soul.”
— Psalm 23:3 (KJV)

Healing Includes Learning To Love Yourself

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
— Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

A lot of people know how to show kindness to others…
but speak harshly to themselves.

They forgive everyone else while condemning themselves.
They encourage everyone else while secretly hating who they are.

But healing is not just about escaping addiction, trauma, or pain.
Healing is also learning to stop fighting yourself.

Loving yourself does not mean pride.
It means recognizing that God created you with value, purpose, and dignity.

You cannot fully walk in freedom while constantly tearing yourself down.

Tonight, remember:
Jesus died for you because your soul mattered.
If God sees worth in you, you should stop calling worthless what Heaven calls loved.

You are still growing.
Still healing.
Still becoming.
And that is something beautiful.

Lord,
Heal the way I see myself. I want to see myself through your lens. Teach me to receive Your love fully and help me stop speaking death over my own heart. Let me rest tonight knowing I am loved by You.
In Jesus name, Amen!!!

Fall In Love With Jesus Again

“We love him, because he first loved us.”
— 1 John 4:19 (KJV)

Some people spend their whole lives searching for love while overlooking the One who has loved them all along.

Jesus loved you before you ever got your life together.
Before healing.
Before growth.
Before recovery.
Before you learned how to love yourself.

His love is not fragile.
It does not disappear when you struggle.
It does not run away when you fail.

The closer you grow to Jesus, the more you begin to see yourself through His eyes instead of through shame, trauma, addiction, rejection, or insecurity.

Falling in love with Jesus changes the way you see everything:
✨ You stop chasing validation.
✨ You stop believing every lie spoken over you.
✨ You stop treating yourself like someone God gave up on.

Because when you truly encounter His love…
you begin learning how to love the person He created you to be.

You are not worthless.
You are not too broken.
You are deeply loved by God.

Jesus,
Please help me fall more in love with You today. Teach me to see myself through Your love instead of through my pain. Heal the places in me that still believe I am unworthy.
In Jesus name, Amen!!!
