June is PTSD Awareness Month.
Be gentle with yourself 💙💕

PTSD is not experienced the same way by everyone.

For some, it may be PTSD.

For others, it may be Complex PTSD, Dissociative PTSD, or Delayed-Onset PTSD.

Some experiences stay with us
long after they happen.

Some days can feel heavier than others.

Certain situations, places, sounds, or memories can bring back emotions
that are difficult to put into words.

And while life continues moving forward, many are still doing their best
to navigate experiences that continue to stay with them.

Holding space for those living with PTSD and the experiences that often go unseen.

Brunch talk we should be having this week: Therapy, rest, and emotional safety for Black men.

As we gear up for Black Mental Wellness Day on February 28, 2026 we are excited to feature a panel discussion focused on the mental wellness of our Black men!

Below are some affirmations to focus our intentions and to share with the Black men in your life all month long.
-Black men deserve rest, softness, and support, not just strength.
-Mental wellness is power.
-Strong minds need care too.
-Black men’s mental health matters, every day.
-Healing is not a weakness.

Let’s normalize therapy, rest, and emotional wellness for Black men. Join us on February 28th (12p-3p/EST) for an engaging panel discussion centering the mental health and wellness of Black men.
