One of my favorite things about being a midwife is that our job is about so much more than delivering babies. 🤍

We get to walk beside women during some of the most vulnerable, powerful and life-changing moments of their lives.

And after all these years, I still can’t believe I get to call this my job. 🥹

Midwives deliver so much more than babies.

25+ hours into supporting mamas and babies through labor, birth, and all the moments in between. 💙☕️

The hours are long, the nights can be exhausting, and the coffee is definitely necessary… but I truly love what I do. There’s something so special about getting to walk alongside families during some of the biggest moments of their lives.

Even on the longest days, I’m reminded that this is exactly where I’m supposed to be. 🩵

I can’t believe it’s been 11 years since I became a midwife. 🤍

What started as a dream and a calling somehow turned into over a decade of walking alongside women and families during some of the most important moments of their lives.

There have been long nights, hard days, emergency deliveries, tears, first cries, tiny fingers, and countless moments that have reminded me exactly why I chose this path.

Being a midwife has never felt like “just a job” to me. It’s a passion, a privilege, and truly part of who I am.

Thank you to every patient and family who has trusted me during such vulnerable and beautiful moments in your lives. I will never stop being grateful for that trust.

11 years down… and I still can’t imagine doing anything else. 🤍✨
