I can’t believe it’s been 11 years since I became a midwife. 🤍

What started as a dream and a calling somehow turned into over a decade of walking alongside women and families during some of the most important moments of their lives.

There have been long nights, hard days, emergency deliveries, tears, first cries, tiny fingers, and countless moments that have reminded me exactly why I chose this path.

Being a midwife has never felt like “just a job” to me. It’s a passion, a privilege, and truly part of who I am.

Thank you to every patient and family who has trusted me during such vulnerable and beautiful moments in your lives. I will never stop being grateful for that trust.

11 years down… and I still can’t imagine doing anything else. 🤍✨

McLaren Flint Celebrates New Year's Baby!

Welcome to the world, Yusariah, who was born at 9:24 a.m. on New Year's Day 2026. She measured in at 19 inches long and weighed 7 1/2 pounds. The Labor and Delivery staff gave mom and dad a special basket to honor this extra special delivery. Congratulations!

Members of McLaren Flint's management team donned aprons and gloves and served a holiday meal to employees. The complimentary meal is a tradition at the hospital, a way of thanking employees for the hard work they do all year long.
