Staff from Hurley Medical Center and the Hurley Foundation were honored to attend a very special fundraiser celebrating what would have been Tyr Kinnamon’s first birthday. Tragically, Tyr lost his life in a car accident at just 8 months old, while his sister Bella suffered a traumatic brain injury and spent 47 days receiving care at Hurley.

To honor Tyr’s memory and give back to the hospital that cared for Bella, Tyr’s parents asked guests to bring toys that will be donated to Hurley Children’s Hospital. Their strength, generosity, and commitment to helping other families during such a difficult time is truly inspiring.
