Today was Noelle’s Charter Store and what a fun filled day it was! Nearly all of the items were generously donated, and it was so heartwarming to watch our resident’s faces light up as they
”shopped” just like in a real store. From picking out their favorite goodies to enjoying the excitement of browsing, it gave everyone a wonderful sense of normalcy and joy!
Seeing their happiness was truly a blessing!

Today we took time together for a special service honoring our veterans and remembering the courage, bravery and sacrifice they made for our country.
This memorial day, we paused to reflect and pay tribute to the fallen men and women who gave their lives while protecting our freedom. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we will forever be grateful 🤍💙❤️
A big thank you to Gentiva Hospice for hosting such a special service and recognizing our veterans!

For our Charter wide day of streaming, I had the residents pick out what they would like to watch…. The Sound Of Music, one of the most beloved musicals of all times!!!

We laughed, sing, along with the songs and enjoyed some delicious snacks provided byGentiva Hospice!

Fun fact: Julie Andrews was not the first choice to play Maria in the sound of music, but after Walt Disney saw her performance in Mary Poppins, he recommended her for the roll!
