Some goodbyes are never easy. 💙

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Acasio, a beloved former member of our Heritage Woods community.

He was the kind of person who lit up a room — always smiling, always spreading warmth and joy to everyone around him. That spirit does not simply fade. It stays with the people who were lucky enough to know him.

To his family and loved ones, we extend our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. We are thinking of you. 🕊️

Martha's Touching Lives Story
Some photographs are more than just pictures they are treasured pieces of our hearts.

Martha recently rediscovered this beautiful black-and-white photograph of her beloved mother, Hulda, taken when she was 49 years old. Looking at it instantly brought back a lifetime of precious memories.

Hulda was a woman of incredible strength, love, and determination. She devoted her life to raising nine children six girls and three boys in Bloomington, Indiana. Through life’s joys and challenges, she provided her family with unwavering love, guidance, and faith, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire.

For Martha, this photograph is a priceless reminder of the remarkable woman who shaped her life. Although the years have passed, a mother’s love never fades. It lives on in the stories we tell, the lessons we carry, and the memories we treasure forever.

At Heritage Woods, two wonderful team members were recently recognized in the most heartfelt ways. Our dietary manager received a support pickle, and our business office manager was gifted beautiful flowers from a friend who appreciates her dedication and hard work.

These moments matter. They speak to the kind of culture we strive to build every day — one where people feel seen, valued, and cared for. 💛
