Most women who call us have thought about calling for a long time.
They have rehearsed what they would say. They have worried about how they would sound.

What they almost universally report after is that the call was nothing like they feared. That the person on the other end of it already understood before she finished explaining.
You can dial now. We’re here. 844-572-1919

At some point the thing you were using to cope became the organizing principle of your day.

What time, how much, where, whether there is enough, whether anyone will notice. All of it quietly took over the bandwidth that used to hold other things.

You are still in there. Recovery is largely the work of finding out what was there before and deciding what you want to keep.

Seven people commenced Friday night at Owl’s Nest. Amanda P., Jamell D., Kenny A., Justin H. (not pictured), Joe K., Jeff B., and Frankie M.

The speaker for the evening was Kevin J. — Case Manager, alumni, and a man who walked into this program the same way they did, five years ago.

There is a reason we talk about this program working. Kevin and all of our alumni are the proof. Grateful and proud of every one of you.

Children raised in homes where a parent's substance use disorder goes untreated have statistically higher rates of anxiety, depression, and their own substance use disorder in adulthood.

Children raised in homes where a parent entered treatment and sustained recovery show measurably different outcomes.

The most protective thing a parent with addiction can do for their children is get well.

Owl's Nest Recovery is here to help with that. 844-572-1919

The moment of clarity that people have isn't always dramatic.

It can be small. A receipt. A reflection. A conversation overheard.

Something that made it impossible to pretend that everything was fine.

If you’ve had that moment, trust it. 844-572-1919

Women achieve higher blood alcohol concentration than men of the same weight after consuming the same amount of alcohol.

They develop alcohol-related liver disease, cardiovascular damage, and neurological consequences at lower consumption levels and over shorter time periods.

They are also prescribed alcohol-interacting medications at higher rates and screened for alcohol use disorder at lower rates.

Effective addiction treatment for women accounts for all of this. Owl's Nest Recovery builds treatment plans specific to the individual's clinical picture.

The fear of losing your children is one of the most powerful things keeping mothers from getting help.

It is also, in most cases, based on a misunderstanding of how South Carolina law works.

Voluntarily checking into addiction treatment does not mean automatically losing custody.

We’ve been around for over 20 years and we’ve helped a lot of moms get sober and get back to their families. Call today. 844-572-1919

Perimenopause disrupts sleep, amplifies anxiety, flattens mood, and changes the way the body processes alcohol.

All at the same time.

Women who arrive at Owl's Nest from this particular season of life often describe the same confusion: they were not heavy drinkers in their thirties and they cannot explain what happened in their forties.

“Before coming to The Owl's Nest, my life was on a downward spiral. I lived in constant fear because I was losing everything I held close to me. I did not understand why I continued living that way or how to stop my life from falling apart. I used drugs as a crutch even though they never helped my situation. I was homeless, alone, and financially, emotionally, and mentally unstable. I gave up on myself and believed I was beyond help. I stayed away from the people who cared about me because I did not want them to be hurt if something happened to me.

Since arriving at The Owl's Nest about two weeks ago, I have completely changed the way I view my addiction and my life. I no longer feel hopeless. I am finding my drive again and waking up wanting to discover new ways to continue my journey toward self-improvement. I feel excited to experience life again. This place is truly magical. The people around me genuinely care, and I have quickly made lasting friendships and found a sense of companionship I have never had before.

I know this is where I'm supposed to be."

"When I arrived at the Nest, I was spun out, shot out, rinsed out & hung out to dry. A shell of a person & broken weighing 165 lbs.

Today after working the 12 steps and completing the program I have self
confidence, a new way of thinking & a design for living. And a healthy 195 lbs.

I'll be forever grateful for my family at the Owls Nest."
