MARGARET POSTON ALTMAN

Margaret Poston Altman, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Derrell Paul Altman, entered into eternal rest Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Her Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 8, at 3:00pm in the Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 100 Cherokee Rd Florence, SC. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Margaret was born December 6, 1942 in Johnsonville, South Carolina, daughter of the late William George Poston and Maggie Stone Rogers. She worked for many years in the International Department of Esab. She was very active with church and a loving mother and a loving grandmother to her 6 grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Derrell (Laura) Altman of Charleston, SC; daughter, Sandra Altman(Bryan) Allen of Rock Hill, SC; Grandchildren, Jessica, Tucker, Brennan, Walker, Tyler, and Carter
