We had the best time welcoming Veronica, the children, and volunteers from the ASTEP Summer Youth Program to Prairie Meadows! 💜

During their field trip, the kids spent time visiting with our residents, sharing hugs, enjoying ice cream, and making plenty of new friends. We were also happy to join in on their last day of class by providing lunch, goodie bags, backpacks, and school supplies to help them get ready for the school year! 🎒✏️

A big thank you to Marcus, our Administrator, for providing the backpacks; Lisa, our Dietary Supervisor, for the delicious lunch; Cecilia, our Activities Director, for bringing everything together; and Max with Trinity Hospice for donating school supplies.

And thank you to Veronica and everyone at ASTEP for spending time with our residents and bringing so many smiles to Prairie Meadows! ❤️

There’s something so special about photo delivery day! ❤️📸

We always love when Megan from Pop of Color Images stops by Prairie Meadows to personally deliver the beautiful portraits she’s captured of our residents. Seeing their faces light up as they receive their photos makes these moments even sweeter.

Because it’s never just a photograph. It’s a beautiful life, a lifetime of memories, and a story worth celebrating. 💕

Our residents enjoyed a little friendly competition with dominoes and Scrabble, and our Administrator couldn’t resist joining in! He may be a little competitive, but our residents are always up for the challenge. 😂
