"I went into this experience not knowing if we truly NEEDED a doula, and I'm convinced we didn't just need a doula. We needed Renée. She is such an incredible person and is doing God's work on this earth. When I say Doula work is not possible without supportive family - This is LITERAL.

I could NEVA have sustained a 17-year career without my husband, kids & family. We've been through it all!

I cry and laugh all at the same time because:

1. Time flies 😢

2. This blurry little GEM from 2021 is of a very willful tween who didn't hesitate to help me demonstrate to an expecting family how to help stretch & align Moms body to support the baby's position.

3. Mom went on to have the vaginal, unmedicated birth she desired ❤️‍🔥

Sometimes, your amazing clients want to capture you in their space, too.
Ok.
I'll take it.

Sometimes, people will say to me, "You must love your job. You get to work with babies all the time."

And yes, I LOVE my job. And yes, I do get to see lots of babies. But my REAL LOVE. MY REAL, REAL LOVE you guys is witnessing a mother step FULLY INTO HER POWER and allowing it to transform her.
To see it, to own it, to look it in the eye and become one with it.
To hear her self-directed encouragement,
"I can do this!" AND DO IT!

For herself,
for her baby,
for her partner,
for her family,
for their future
for it all.

THAT is what I love.
Because women sometimes need that reminder of the honest truth that they CAN in this loud and confusing world. THAT is what I LOVE, EVERYTIME.
