Rudy was my aunt’s pitbull her first pitbull. She’s always had bulldogs that when she saw this little red nose puppy she loved him and she called him Rudolph the red nose puppy. She babied him like she had a newborn all over again she loved that dog, and that dog loved her. It was a bond that could never be broken, and when Rudy left us, she was devastated and the only thing I could think to do was to sit down and From start to finish do a painting and then I walked out to her house cause she was only five houses for mine and they handed it to her and I said here you go I didn’t wanna look at her because we all loved Trudy, but I heard her breakdown. Kind of I knew I was gonna breakdown so I said OK Aunt Mary I’ll see you later with my voice cracking and I turned around to leave and then I cry the whole way home so sometimes our as much more than you know trendy styles, different mediums certain techniques sometimes art is the emotion that you put into it and what it means to somebody else if you can move somebody through your art then I think that makes you an artist whether you’re great at it or you can just do enough of it to get the point across and that’s what’s great about it cause that’s very subjective, we will always miss you Rudy 💜
