Located in Flossmoor, IL, the Child Life Center is a general pediatric office that offers caring, comprehensive care to infants, children and adolescents. Our three board certified pediatricians are on staff at The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. We consider it a privilege to work with so many wonderful families in the area and we look forward to meeting new families. We are happy to answer any questions you might have about the practice. Saturday morning hours are now in effect. Remember that a doctor is always available on call to answer your urgent phone calls after hours. Disclaimer

Our phone system is currently out. We can call out but we are not receiving phone calls. If you need to make an appointment with us, please call central scheduling at 773-702-6169 or send a MyChart message during business hours today.

Power is restored and we are back in the office.

The office will be closed tomorrow, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth. We will be back in the office on Friday, June 20.
Hope that everyone is having a safe and healthy summer. Just a reminder... out physical slots are filling in fast! If your child needs a school or sport physical for the fall, we are already booking into August, so give the office a call!

We are seeing a lot of RSV right now. It is a common respiratory virus. Most kids are able to manage it at home but sometimes little ones need to go to the hospital. Unfortunately, there is no treatment to make this viral illness go away. This article talks about when to be concerned and what to watch for.

If your baby is under 8 months old and has not received Beyfortus (and mom did not get the RSV vaccine during pregnancy), we can give it in the office if you call to make a nurse appointment.

Almost all children get RSV at least once before they are 2 years old. For most healthy children, RSV is like a cold. But some children get very sick with RSV. Learn the symptoms and how to protect your child.

Flu vaccines are now available. You can call the office to schedule a nurse visit. We will also be having a flu shot clinic on Saturday, October 5, in the lobby of our building. COVID vaccines will also be available at that time. It is by appointment only. You can call 708-799-7600 to be scheduled.
