On Wednesday, we had our first baking class with Chef Shuwn! On the menu this week: Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, also known as Semifreddo! 🍨

We had a great turnout and a wonderful finished product that we served the next day over pound cake... so wonderful we didn’t get a picture of the final product! This was a fan favorite for sure! ❤️

We can’t wait for next week’s class!

At Flower Mound Memory Care, we believe every senior deserves to feel loved, remembered, and celebrated — especially during the holidays.

For some of our residents living with dementia, Christmas can be an especially emotional time, particularly when family and loved ones aren't nearby.

This year, we're inviting our wonderful Flower Mound community to help us spread a little extra Christmas magic! ❤️

🎁 HOW CAN YOU HELP?

🧴 Donate Everyday Essentials: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, deodorant, shaving supplies, and other toiletries for men and women.

🧦 Give the Gift of Comfort: Cozy socks, soft blankets, slippers, and other thoughtful items.

☕ Share a Holiday Treat: Coffee, hot cocoa, individually wrapped treats, or other goodies.

🧩 Bring a Little Joy: Coloring books, simple puzzles, activity supplies, or heartfelt Christmas cards.

❤️ THE MOST MEANINGFUL GIFT MAY BE YOUR TIME!

We're also welcoming volunteers who would love to spend time with our residents. Whether it's sharing a conversation, listening to favorite stories, singing Christmas carols, or simply offering a warm smile, your kindness can make a lasting difference.

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference! Manicure day for our ladies means an afternoon of pampering, polish and spending time with friends! We’re always grateful for the chance to make our ladies feel beautiful, extra loved and cared for each day! Something as simple as getting your nails done can make you feel like a whole new person!
