What a great turnout yesterday! Thank you to The Oasis- An Early to Mid Stage Alzheimer's/Dementia Group in Lewisville for having our Community Manager Rhonda Bedrick! We were honored to sponsor pizzas for lunch and spend some quality time with everyone during today’s fun Broadway-themed craft. 🎶✨

Everyone got creative and designed their very own playbill, bringing their favorite Broadway-inspired ideas to life! From delicious pizza to creativity, laughter, and great company, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with connection and fun. ❤️

🚨 Did You Know Stroke Risk Increases With Age?

Strokes can happen unexpectedly, and every second counts when one occurs. Knowing the warning signs can help you recognize a stroke quickly and get emergency medical attention as soon as possible.

Remember FAST:

F – Face: Does one side of the face droop?
A – Arms: Is one arm weak or numb?
S – Speech: Is speech slurred or difficult to understand?
T – Time: Call 911 immediately if you notice any of these signs.

Common stroke risk factors include high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking, heart disease, and age. Take a few minutes to learn the signs, understand your risk factors, and share this information with the people you love. ❤️

Richard Fulton path to BrightStar Care was shaped by a lifelong appreciation for service and a desire to make a meaningful impact in his community.

After building a successful career in marketing and operations, Richard was inspired to pursue business ownership by his family's experience caring for aging loved ones. Witnessing the challenges of caregiving firsthand reinforced the importance of accessible, high-quality home care and motivated him to bring those services closer to the families who need them most.

“Seeing my mom care for both of her parents really opened my eyes to just how much comes with being a caregiver,” Richard shared. “That's when I realized how important quality home care can be for an entire family.”

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! 🔐🧩

Our BrightStar Care office team recently took a break from the daily routine for a fun team bonding event at Dimensions Escape Room in Lewisville—and we're happy to report... we escaped! 🎉🙌

This was more than just a fun outing. It was a great opportunity to strengthen our communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while enjoying plenty of laughs along the way. Working together under pressure reminded us how valuable collaboration and trust are—both inside the escape room and in the work we do every day caring for our clients and supporting one another.

A huge thank you to the team at Dimensions Escape Room for a fantastic experience! We had an amazing time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique team-building activity.

Our 2026 Skills Fair was a huge success! 💙

We had an incredible turnout as our caregivers and CNAs came together for a day of learning, collaboration, and connection. Continuing education is an important part of providing the exceptional care our clients deserve, and this year's Skills Fair gave our team the opportunity to refresh essential skills, review company policies and procedures, and strengthen relationships with one another.

From hands-on competency sign-offs for Hoyer lift transfers, gait belt safety, proper hand hygiene, and infection prevention techniques, to engaging activities and team building, the day was filled with learning, laughter, and growth.

A heartfelt thank you to every caregiver and CNA who attended and continues to go above and beyond for our clients each day. Your dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence make all the difference. We are proud to have such an amazing team serving our community!
