“Don’t take life too seriously, and always find something to smile about.” 💙

Those were Mr. Robert Pickenpaugh’s parting words as he graduated from our Madison physical therapy clinic today!

You may know him from Pickenpaugh Pottery. Our team knows him for his jokes, upbeat attitude, and “thoughts of the day” that always gave us something to think about and smile about.

After a hip fracture in May, Mr. Pickenpaugh worked his way through recovery and became part of our PT family along the way. We’ll miss his visits, but we’re so happy to celebrate this milestone with him.

Congratulations, Mr. Pickenpaugh! 🎉 Thank you for being such a blessing to our team and reminding us to find the joy in the journey.

Get to Know Caleb Pardue, PA-C!

Originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Caleb completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee and his PA training at South College in Knoxville. His love of science and chemistry led him to discover the PA profession, and it felt like a great fit!

He’s coming up on two years at Capital Ortho working alongside Dr. Tal Hendrix. His favorite part of being here? The people who make it a great place to work. He said the most rewarding part of patient care is guiding patients through recovery after surgery and seeing their progress along the way.

His advice to patients: “Never hesitate to come in and see us, regardless of how small the issue may be.”

Outside of work, Caleb enjoys time at home with his wife and dogs, golfing, cooking, and kettlebell workouts. 🎸 Fun fact: He can also play guitar!
