Our donor beds are empty, and Mississippi's blood supply continues to decline during the summer donation slowdown. Patients in hospitals across the state are counting on donors to step up now. ❤️🩸

A+, A-, O+, O-, B+, and B- blood types are especially needed.

Every donation can help save up to three lives. Blood cannot be manufactured—it can only come from volunteer donors like you.

Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) recently recognized longtime donor Kent Mummert of Clinton, who reached an extraordinary milestone on April 29, 2026 – his 802nd platelet donation, equating to more than one hundred gallons of blood products donated over the course of his lifetime.
