📣 Well Visit Reminder

We have a couple of openings for well visits tomorrow morning! If your child is due for their annual well visit, please call the office to schedule.

🩺 Well visits are an important part of keeping your child healthy. They allow us to monitor growth and development, make sure immunizations are up to date, address any concerns early, and provide guidance to support your child’s health and well-being.

We are currently sending texts and calling parents whose children are due for a well visit and do not yet have one scheduled this year.

Our recommendations are guided by the best available scientific evidence, pediatric expertise, and what we believe is safest and healthiest for children.

There is a lot of conflicting information right now. We believe families deserve clear, honest, and science based information when making decisions about their children’s health.

Political propaganda has no place in your child’s health care.

Your child’s health and well being remain our highest priority. We will continue to advocate for our patients, follow the evidence, and provide care based on what is best for children.

Responsibilities include:
• Rooming patients
• Taking vital signs
• Administering vaccines
• Assisting our physicians

We're currently looking for coverage every Friday, with the potential for an additional day as needed.

🩺 Is Your Child Due for Their Lipid Screening?

Before the busy school year begins, make sure your child completes their lipid (cholesterol) screening if it has been recommended by Dr. Horning.

Why is a lipid panel important?
✅ Detects high cholesterol early - even in healthy-looking children
✅ Identifies inherited cholesterol disorders that may not have symptoms
✅ Helps reduce the risk of heart disease later in life
✅ Provides an opportunity to encourage healthy lifestyle habits early

If Dr. Horning has ordered a lipid panel for your child, the order has already been sent electronically to Quest Diagnostics. No paper order is needed.

📱 If we have not received your child's results, you may be receiving a text message or phone call from our office over the next week as a friendly reminder to have the test completed before school starts and the back to school chaos begins!
