**You can love people without carrying them.**

I needed that reminder today.

I have been noticing lately how easily I can begin carrying the moods, emotions, worries, and experiences of the people around me—especially the people I love most.

My girls started school this week.

New schools. New teachers. New classmates. New routines. New everything.

And because I am their mother, of course I care how they are feeling.

I want to know if they are nervous.
I want to know if they feel comfortable.
I want to know if someone hurt their feelings.
I want to know if they feel included.
I want to know if they are okay.

But somewhere between *caring about what they are feeling* and *wanting to make sure they are okay,* I can very easily begin experiencing their emotions as though they are my own.

And it isn't only with my children.

I do this with people I love.

Someone is stressed, and suddenly I feel stressed.

Someone is upset, and I start searching for what I can do to make it better.

Someone's energy shifts, and some part of me immediately notices and begins wondering why.

Someone is struggling, and before I know it, I have picked up a piece of their struggle and added it to everything I am already carrying.

Maybe you do this, too.

Especially if you are empathic, intuitive, highly sensitive, a caregiver, a parent—or simply someone who learned somewhere along the way to pay very close attention to the emotional temperature of the room.

But there is a difference between **holding space for someone and carrying them.**

I can allow my children to be nervous without becoming nervous for them.

I can allow someone I love to have a difficult day without allowing their difficult day to become mine.

I can listen without fixing.

Support without rescuing.

Love without absorbing.

And I can recognize that someone else's mood is not necessarily a message about me—or a problem I am responsible for solving.

That last one can be difficult.

Because sometimes we become so accustomed to monitoring everyone else that we forget to ask:

**What am *I* feeling?
What do *I* need?
What actually belongs to me today?**

Not every emotion you feel in the presence of another person belongs to you.

Not every problem needs your solution.

Not every disappointment is yours to repair.

Not every uncomfortable feeling needs to be taken away.

Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is remain beside someone while allowing them the dignity of carrying what belongs to them.

And sometimes the most loving thing we can do for ourselves is quietly put down everything we picked up that was never ours in the first place.

**I can love you without carrying you.
I can care about what you feel without becoming responsible for it.
I can hold space for your experience without abandoning my own.**

Your energy belongs in your life, too.

Eleyna 🤍

What if the thing that scares you most isn’t standing in the way of your path…

What if it’s **part of the path?**

We are so often taught to interpret fear as a warning.

Don’t go there.
You’re not ready.
You might fail.
You might be rejected.
You might lose what you have.
You might discover you aren’t capable after all.

And sometimes, yes—fear is protective.

But there is another kind of fear.

The fear that appears when something matters deeply.

The fear that rises when you are standing at the edge of becoming someone you have never been before.

The fear of being seen.
Of trusting your intuition.
Of using your voice.
Of setting the boundary.
Of leaving what is familiar.
Of beginning again.
Of finally answering the call you have spent years trying to ignore.

That fear feels different.

Because somewhere beneath it, there is often a quiet knowing:

**This is important.**

Sometimes our greatest fears and our deepest callings live remarkably close to one another.

Not because we are meant to suffer.

But because the places that ask the most of us can also become the places where we discover the most about ourselves.

Maybe you came here to learn to trust yourself after years of second-guessing.

Maybe you came here to find your voice after a lifetime of making yourself smaller.

Maybe you came here to experience love without abandoning yourself to keep it.

Maybe you came here to stop repeating what was handed down to you.

Maybe you came here to discover just how powerful you are when you stop waiting to feel completely unafraid.

Courage is not always the absence of fear.

Sometimes courage is recognizing:

**I am afraid… and something within me is still asking me to move closer.**

So when fear rises, don't automatically ask:

*“How do I make this go away?”*

Ask:

**“What is this fear protecting… and what might be waiting for me on the other side of it?”**

The answer may tell you more about your path than the fear ever could.

Eleyna 🤍

🌿 **What If Nothing Extraordinary Has to Happen?**

Lately, nature has been reminding me of something I think we sometimes forget:

Life doesn’t always have to give us something enormous for a moment to be meaningful.

Sometimes it is a shell at your feet.

A heron standing at the water’s edge.

A tiny crab disappearing beneath the sand.

The sound of frogs after the rain.

A storm rolling across the sky.

The ocean reaching just far enough to wash over your feet.

Or a sunrise so magnificent that, for a moment, you simply stop.

I’ve spent many mornings and evenings walking the beach this summer, searching for shells and shark teeth, watching the tides, studying the creatures around me, and allowing myself to become curious about this new landscape.

And I’ve realized that the more I pay attention, the more there is to see.

That feels important.

Because we often ask for signs, guidance, clarity, reassurance, inspiration...

And then we go looking for something *big.*

Something undeniable.

But perhaps part of becoming more intuitive isn’t learning how to receive more.

Perhaps it is learning how to **notice more.**

To become curious again.

To pay attention to what catches your eye.

To notice what makes you stop.

To recognize what brings an unexpected feeling of peace, wonder, joy, or familiarity.

Yesterday morning, I found a Great White shark tooth on the beach.

Was it simply an incredible little piece of nature waiting in the sand?

Absolutely.

Could I also allow myself to experience the wonder of being the person who happened to notice it?

Absolutely.

Not everything needs to become a message.

Not everything needs to be interpreted.

Sometimes the invitation is simply to be fully present for the life happening around you.

Because when we stop rushing past the ordinary...

we begin to realize how very little of it is ordinary at all.

Today, see what happens when you move through your world with curiosity.

Look down.

Look up.

Listen.

Notice.

You may be surprised by how much has been waiting for you to see it. 🌊🐚✨

🌿 **Replenished by Nature**

The last couple of months have asked a lot of me.

Relocating came with so much more than simply moving from one place to another. There have been boxes to unpack, children to settle, new routines to establish, responsibilities to manage, loose ends to tie up, and an entirely new life to begin creating.

And through all of it, I have been intentionally trying to balance everything that needs something from me with the things that **give something back to me.**

Again and again, that has been nature.

The ocean.
The sand beneath my bare feet.
The warmth of the sun.
The trees.
The birds.
The flowers.
The evening sky.
The simple act of stepping outside and breathing.

Did you know there is actually a name for making direct contact with the Earth?

**Earthing, or grounding.** 🌎

Walking barefoot through wet sand, standing in the ocean, sitting against a tree, or placing your hands upon the Earth are all ways people practice grounding.

And while you may hear many claims about what grounding does electrically within the body that science has not yet established, what we *do* know is that spending time in natural environments can support our wellbeing, reduce stress, encourage movement, engage our senses, and give our minds somewhere to rest.

I don't need a study to tell me what my own body has been whispering every time my feet touch the ocean.

**Stay here for a little while.**

There is something incredibly restorative about allowing the waves to move around my legs, feeling the sand shift beneath my feet, listening to the rhythm of the water, and realizing that—for those few moments—nothing is asking anything of me.

I am simply there.

Receiving.

Replenishing.

Coming back into my body.
Coming back into the present.
Coming back to myself.

Maybe that has been one of the unexpected gifts of this relocation.

I thought I was learning how to make a home in a new place.

Perhaps I am also learning, more deeply than ever, how important it is to make a home **within myself.**

And lately, nature has been helping me find my way there. 🌊🌿

✨ **Pay Attention to Who Crosses Your Path Right Now** ✨

We are in the space between eclipses.

The Total Solar Eclipse in Leo has passed, and we are now moving toward the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 27–28.

This space between eclipses is sometimes called an **eclipse corridor**—a period often associated, spiritually and astrologically, with accelerated change, revelation, endings, beginnings, and unexpected shifts.

But there is something else I want you to pay attention to during this time:

**People.**

Who are you meeting?

Who suddenly reaches out?

Whose name keeps appearing?

What conversation happens seemingly out of nowhere?

Who feels strangely familiar, even though you've only just met?

And perhaps just as importantly...

**Who are you suddenly seeing differently?**

Not every significant encounter arrives as a lifelong relationship.

Some people enter our lives to stay.

Some arrive carrying an opportunity.

Some bring information.

Some mirror something within us that we haven't been able to see.

Some awaken a part of us that has been sleeping.

And some appear simply to redirect us—to place one thought, one question, one possibility in our path before continuing on theirs.

That is why I wouldn't spend these next two weeks trying to decide immediately what every connection *means.*

Just **notice.**

Notice what feels effortless.

Notice what feels familiar.

Notice the conversations that linger in your mind afterward.

Notice the unexpected invitations.

Notice who expands something within you—and who suddenly makes you recognize what you no longer want.

Because sometimes the significance of meeting someone isn't the person themselves.

**It's who you become because your paths crossed.**

The eclipse corridor isn't asking you to chase signs or force meaning onto every encounter.

It's asking you to be awake enough to recognize when something—or someone—makes you stop and pay attention.

Maybe instead of asking,

*"Why did this person come into my life?"*

ask...

**"What is this encounter showing me?"** 🌑✨🌕

🌈 **“August Color Vibration”**

August glows with the luminous vibration of **amber** — the color of inner strength, confidence, and sacred manifestation. Like sunlight preserved within ancient resin, amber reminds us that every experience holds wisdom, and every step along our journey has shaped the light we now carry. 🍯✨

This month, trust the foundation you have built. Honor how far you've come, even if you're still reaching for what's next. Your greatest power isn't found in becoming someone new—it's found in fully embracing who you already are.

🧡 **Color of the Month: AMBER** — Confidence + Manifestation + Inner Wisdom

✨ **Affirmation:** *“I honor my journey, trust my inner strength, and confidently create a life aligned with my soul.”*

🌑☀️ **New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Leo** ♌️
**August 12, 2026 | 1:36 PM ET**

This is not an ordinary New Moon.

On August 12, the Sun and Moon meet in fiery Leo, creating a **Total Solar Eclipse**—a powerful threshold of endings, beginnings, revelation, and change.

And with this eclipse connected to the **South Node**, there is something especially important about what we are being asked to leave behind.

Not because everything from the past was wrong.

But because some versions of us were created for seasons we have already survived.

Some identities were built around being accepted.
Being needed.
Keeping the peace.
Proving our worth.
Staying small enough to remain comfortable for others.
Or becoming who we thought we *should* be.

Leo brings us back to the heart. ❤️‍🔥

To courage.
Creativity.
Self-expression.
Joy.
Confidence.
Visibility.
And the willingness to take up space as the person we actually are.

But true Leo energy isn't about performing for attention.

It asks something much deeper:

**Can you allow yourself to be seen without abandoning yourself in the process?**

This eclipse may illuminate the places where ego, fear, perfectionism, validation, or an outdated identity has been standing between you and your most authentic expression.

And because eclipses can accelerate change, something may become clear very quickly.

A truth.

A realization.

A desire you can no longer ignore.

A chapter that suddenly feels complete.

Or a version of yourself that simply doesn't fit anymore.

🌑 **This New Moon isn't asking you to have everything figured out.**

Eclipse energy can reveal before it explains.

You may only be able to see the next step.

Let that be enough.

The seeds planted—or the changes initiated—around this eclipse may continue unfolding over the coming months.

So rather than forcing an intention, listen.

Notice what is leaving.

Notice what keeps calling you forward.

Notice where your heart feels more alive.

✨ **Reflection Prompts**

🔥 What version of myself am I ready to outgrow?

🔥 Where have I been performing instead of simply being?

🔥 What would I choose if I no longer needed anyone else's validation?

🔥 Where is my heart asking me to be braver?

🔥 What wants to be expressed through me now?

And perhaps most importantly...

**Who am I becoming when I stop trying to be who I have already been?**

You do not need to chase this next version of yourself.

You may simply need to stop holding onto the one you have already outgrown.

🌑☀️♌️

**New Moon Eclipse Affirmation**

*I release the versions of myself I have outgrown.*

*I trust what is being revealed.*

*I honor the courage of my heart.*

*I allow myself to be fully, authentically seen.*

*And I welcome the Self that is ready to emerge.*

08/11/2026

There is a language in nature.
And I am learning to listen differently. 🌿

Since moving South, I have found myself immersed in the natural world in a way I haven’t been in years.

The ocean.
The trees.
Shells tucked beneath the sand.
Feathers along a path.
Stone, moss, sunlight, water.

And the more time I spend surrounded by it, the more I notice something:

Nature repeats herself.

The same colors.
The same textures.
The same branching lines and delicate patterns.
The same spirals, rings, shadows, and bursts of light.

We so often think of ourselves as beings in nature.

But perhaps we forget that we are beings of nature.

Our bodies carry landscapes of their own.

There are forests in the way our vessels branch.
Rivers in the way life moves through us.
Constellations in our freckles.
Tree rings in the lines that tell the stories of where we have been.

And entire worlds held within our eyes.

Lately, I have felt myself being pulled toward a deeper understanding of that connection—not only spiritually, but physically.

Toward the places where intuition and observation meet.

Where ancient wisdom can sit beside curiosity.

Where the body becomes something we don’t simply live inside, but something we learn to listen to.

I’m not quite ready to share everything that has been unfolding behind the scenes just yet.

But I do know this:

My work is growing.

I am growing.

And somehow, the more I learn, the more I find myself returning to the same truth—

We were never separate from nature.

We are nature.

Perhaps that is why coming back to her can sometimes feel so much like...

coming home to ourselves. 🌿

# ✨ The 8/8 Lion's Gate Portal ✨

Every year, the Lion's Gate Portal reaches its peak on **August 8th**, during the heart of Leo season.

Spiritually, this time is associated with the rising of **Sirius**, one of the brightest stars in our sky, alongside the Sun. Many view this annual alignment as an invitation to reconnect with your own inner light, courage, creativity, and purpose.

This year's portal feels especially significant.

The energetic window began around **July 26** and continues through **August 12**, culminating in a **Total Solar Eclipse in Leo**. Whether you see these events as deeply spiritual, symbolic, or simply an opportunity for reflection, this period invites us to pause and ask:

**Who am I becoming?**

The number **8** has long been associated with:
∞ abundance
∞ personal power
∞ balance
∞ the infinite cycle of giving and receiving

In 2026, the date itself carries a powerful pattern of eights, reminding us that lasting abundance often begins with the choices we make today.

Rather than trying to force manifestations, consider this portal an opportunity to align more deeply with yourself.

✨ Release what no longer reflects the person you're becoming.
✨ Trust the wisdom you've gained.
✨ Create space for what truly belongs in your life.
✨ Let courage guide your next step.

If you feel called to work with this energy, you might:

🤍 Write down eight intentions for the months ahead.
🤍 Spend time in meditation or quiet reflection.
🤍 Journal about what you're ready to leave behind.
🤍 Ground yourself in nature.
🤍 Repeat affirmations that remind you of your own strength.

Remember...

The greatest transformation rarely arrives because the universe suddenly changes.

It often happens because **you do.**

May this Lion's Gate Portal remind you that the light you've been searching for has always existed within you.

Eleyna 🤍
