Happy Tuesday!

Sometimes we stay with a choice long after it stops feeling right simply because we were the ones who made it.

We chose the path. We made the commitment. We invested the time. We told people what we were going to do. Changing our mind can feel like admitting we were wrong or that all the effort we’ve already put in was wasted.

But what if it simply means you know something now that you didn’t know then?

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about an area of your life where you may be continuing something mostly because you've already come this far. Ask yourself, “If I were choosing today, knowing what I know now, would I still choose this?”

You may discover that the answer is absolutely yes. And that can strengthen your commitment.

But if the answer is no, you’re allowed to pay attention to that too.

Changing direction doesn’t erase what came before. The experience still taught you something. The time wasn't wasted simply because it led you somewhere different than you expected.

We aren't meant to make every decision once and then spend the rest of our lives defending it.

As you grow, you get new information about yourself and what matters to you. Sometimes honoring that means choosing again.

You’re Allowed to Choose Again. ✨

Happy Monday!

How many times have you gone looking for another answer when, somewhere inside, you already knew what needed to happen?

We can read another book, listen to another podcast, ask another person, take another class, or spend another hour searching for information. Learning is valuable, but there comes a point when gathering more knowledge becomes easier than actually using what we know.

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about something in your life that you’ve been trying to figure out. Then ask yourself, “What do I already know about this?”

Maybe you already know which conversation needs to happen. You know the habit that makes you feel better when you actually do it. You know something isn't working anymore. You know what you want to try next, or you know the first small step even if you can't see the entire path yet.

We often underestimate how much wisdom comes from simply paying attention to our own experiences. You've learned from what worked, what didn't, what felt right, what drained you, what surprised you, and what you would choose differently now.

You don't always need more information before you can move. Sometimes you just need to trust yourself enough to use what you've already learned.

Use What You Already Know. ✨

Happy Sunday!

How often are you doing one thing while your mind is already three steps ahead?

You’re having breakfast but thinking about what needs to happen later. You’re talking with someone while mentally working through another problem. You finally have time to relax, but part of you is already preparing for Monday.

We can be so busy anticipating what comes next that we barely experience what’s happening now.

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Feel your feet against the floor or the ground beneath you. Notice where you actually are. Take in what you can see, hear, and feel without needing to do anything with it.

Then ask yourself, “Am I here, or am I already somewhere else?”

Being present doesn’t require a perfectly peaceful day or an hour of meditation. Sometimes it’s as simple as putting your phone down during a conversation, tasting the food you’re eating, noticing the warmth of the sun, listening when someone you love is talking, or letting yourself enjoy where you are without thinking about where you need to be next.

Your mind will wander. That’s what minds do. The practice is noticing when it happens and bringing yourself back to the life that’s actually happening in front of you.

You don’t need to experience tomorrow yet. Today is already here.

Be Where Your Feet Are. ✨

Happy Saturday!

When life gets busy, fun can start feeling like something we’ll get around to after everything else is handled. But when is everything ever completely handled?

There will always be something that needs our attention. Another errand, another responsibility, another project, another thing we could check off the list. If we wait until there's nothing left to do before we enjoy ourselves, we may be waiting a very long time.

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about what would genuinely feel fun today. Not productive. Not good for you. Not something you should do. Just something you'd enjoy.

Maybe it's heading somewhere you've never been, getting together with friends, going for a swim, listening to live music, taking a long drive, eating outside, laughing until your stomach hurts, or doing absolutely nothing useful for a few hours.

Fun isn't something we have to earn by being productive enough first. It's part of what makes a life feel like a life. And with summer still here, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy it before the season changes.

Leave some room in your day for something that has no purpose other than making you happy.

Make Room for a Little Fun. ☀️✨

September 11 is a date that carries memories many of us will never forget. We remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives changed forever, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage and humanity that emerged on an unimaginable day.

But remembrance can also ask something of us. It can remind us how quickly the things that divide us can become insignificant, how deeply we need one another, and how powerful it is when people choose compassion, courage, and service in the moments that matter most.

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Take this moment simply to remember. To honor. And perhaps to hold a little more gratitude for the people you love and the ordinary moments we so easily take for granted. We cannot change what happened that day, but we can choose how we carry its memory forward.

May we honor those who were lost by remembering not only the tragedy but also the courage, sacrifice, compassion, and humanity that rose in response.

Today, we remember.

We Remember. We Honor. ✨

What if the thing you’re trying to create stays stuck because you’re still afraid to say what you really want?

So many people know what they want, believe, or what they’re ready for, but fear, conditioning, overthinking, and second-guessing keep them from saying it out loud.

Our voice is one of the ways we give direction to our intentions. It’s how we ask, share, lead, create opportunities, and let other people know what we’re here for.

Next week in UNMUTED: Reclaim the Voice You Were Designed to Lead With, we’re exploring your Human Design Communication Center and the unique way your voice is designed to be expressed. You’ll also receive a personalized insight report into where your voice may be getting muted and how to begin using it with greater trust.

Happy Thursday!

We talk a lot about learning to say no, but sometimes the more important question is whether we're being intentional about what gets our yes.

Every yes gives something access to our time, attention, energy, or emotional space. And when we say yes automatically because we feel obligated, don't want to disappoint someone, or simply haven't stopped to think about it, we can end up with very little room for the things we genuinely care about.

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Allow your breath to bring you fully into this moment. Think about what you've been saying yes to lately and ask yourself, "Does this deserve a place in my life right now?"

A meaningful yes might be an opportunity that excites you, time with someone you love, taking care of yourself, trying something unfamiliar, pursuing an idea, or finally making space for something you've wanted for a long time.

You don't have to say yes simply because something is available to you. And you don't have to say no simply because something feels unfamiliar.

Give yourself enough space to notice the difference between obligation and genuine willingness. Your yes has value. Let it belong to the people, experiences, opportunities, and choices that deserve it.

Choose What Deserves a Yes. ✨

Happy Wednesday!

Have you ever noticed how quickly your whole mood can shift when you change what you're doing?

Sometimes we sit in the same place thinking about the same problem, hoping we'll somehow think our way into feeling differently. Meanwhile, what we may actually need is to interrupt the pattern.

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Notice how you feel right now without needing to label it as good or bad. Then ask yourself, "What could I do today that might change this energy?"

Maybe you need to get outside, turn on music and move, take a drive with the windows down, call someone who always makes you laugh, clean out a space that's been bothering you, put your feet in the grass, go near the water, or finally do the thing you've been avoiding.

It doesn't always take a major change to shift how we feel. Sometimes changing our environment, moving our body, or giving our attention to something different is enough to break the loop we've been sitting in.

And when your energy changes, you may find that the situation you were struggling with looks a little different too. So if you feel stuck today, don't automatically assume you need to figure everything out. Try changing the energy first.

Do Something That Changes Your Energy. ✨

Happy Tuesday!

We learn a lot about ourselves when we stop trying to fit every experience into the story we've always told about who we are.

Maybe something you once wanted doesn't feel as important anymore. Something you never imagined yourself doing suddenly feels exciting. You may be responding differently to situations, wanting different things from your relationships, or realizing that an old version of you simply doesn't fit anymore.

That doesn't mean you've lost your way. It may mean you're finally paying closer attention.

Before moving into your day, pause.

Sacred Pause
Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Allow your breath to settle you into this moment. Think about something you've recently discovered about yourself that surprised you.

Instead of immediately questioning it or trying to make it fit who you've been, get curious about what it might be showing you.

We're allowed to change our minds. We're allowed to outgrow things. We're allowed to discover parts of ourselves that were always there but never had much room to be expressed.

You don't need to have a new version of yourself completely figured out. Just be willing to notice what's becoming clearer.

The more you trust what you're learning about yourself, the less you'll need the outside world to tell you who you're supposed to be.

Trust What You’re Learning About Yourself. ✨
