Casting off Societal "Norms"

Society tells us what is acceptable, what is good, what is bad, what is weird, what is different. It has a definition for every possible choice.

Everyone and everything grows by their own formula.

We have been conditioned to define abundance by how much material wealth we can accumulate.

The truth is abundance is different for everyone, but no matter what, it's having what you need to fulfill your highest good in the moment you need it. Love, friendship, safety, nature, room to expand are all abundance

We have been taught that everyone is supposed to have children.

The truth is more and more souls are deciding before incarnation to not be parents so they can focus on community and they're own spiritual expansion.

We have been conditioned that everyone is supposed to be married.

The truth is many souls are looking to master self empowerment. Being comfortable being alone.

We have been trained that everyone is supposed to go to college.

The truth is this belief has caused us to have an unbelievable shortage in tradesman, farmers, spiritual healers and skilled craftsman.

The acceptable lists go on and on. It was always about conditioning and conforming.

The more we awaken, the harder we find it to fit into these pre-planned molds. We feel confined, no different than an animal in a cage.

The truth is life is supposed to be lived freely. We are supposed to be creating as we go,

We are here to change things, stop the wheel, evolve! If you think you are weird, different, abnormal...chances are you are on the right path!

Being present

Do you remember the movie "Click"?

In the movie, the lead character named Michael Newman, played by Adam Sandler, acquires a magical remote control. This remote has the power to rewind and replay life, fast forward and to pause life.

Michael begins to fast forward through the things he considers boring, uncomfortable, or tedious. He replays and slows down the parts of his life that he finds pleasurable or positive.

He fast-forwarded through the time with his partner, his kids being ill or muted people them when they got loud or he chose not to listen. He replayed and focused on what was trivial and without deeper meaning.

By the end of the movie he finally understands he made a huge mistake. He missed out and everything life was gifting him. He prayed for the chance to go back and be present for all the moments in his life. "Good" or "bad".

Every experience and every moment in our lives is a gift. The kids being too loud, our significant other requesting our attention and time, caring for those who need us. Even illness and injury.

All of these beautiful moments are adding up to something amazing, magical, and Holy.

Our life is worthy of our time, and our attention. Every minute is the greatest of gifts.

Healers and Spiritual Teachers

As a Reiki healer/teacher, many look to me for help and guidance. I believe I am able to help others because of my own struggles and hardships.

I am the first to say that I don't have all the answers, I share what truth I have found thus far on my journey. When I am able to be of service, I am.

Having said that, it's important for healers and spiritual teachers to remember that healing comes in waves. As much as I have healed and grown, there is always more.

I too still get triggered and have fears.
I go through cycles of questioning what I think my truth is, feeling lost, discovery and finally integration into a new "truth".

Sometimes leaders are afraid to show their vulnerability and weaknesses. I too for far too long have based my self worth on self improvement, service and appearing strong.

It's not realistic or sustainable. We're human. We may be "starseeds" and "way-showers" but we are still HUMAN.

Let us honor our cycles and waves. Honor the shadows and lows. That is the way to expansion. That is how we keep propelling forward.

Being REAL, being AUTHENTIC, being HONEST with ourselves and others, but mostly just BEING

The Ultimate Rabbit Hole

Many of us on our spiritual journey delight in chasing knowledge. Our thirst for the next ephinay can be insatiable.

We read book after book, listen to podcasts, watch documentaries, follow this guru and that yogi, all in the desire to understand ourselves.

What if I told you there is another way. The greatest book to read, the greatest mystery to unravel is all inside of you. Your blueprint, the map of your soul is there for the discovering.

Nothing is ever denied to us. Seek and we will find, ask and it will be answered. The kingdom is within US.

The price is stillness. Not an empty mind void of thought, but practiced stillness. Being comfortable with yourself in silence. No entertainment, no purposeful distraction, being OK with yourself by yourself.

Listening to your heart space, ignoring the ramblings of the mind.

You are the ultimate rabbit hole. You are the ultimate discovery. You have and are the answer to everything.

Water and the Sun

Now more than ever before we are being called to drink clean water and get daily exposure to the Sun's rays.

I'll take it a step further and say that this week it is even more vital to drink water and get in the Sun.

Our water is being changed from its previous 3D form and now is holding 4D sacred geometry as well as precious memories.

Our morning Sun is decalcifying and descaling our third eye and our pineal glands, as well as sending healing, light codes and DNA activation.

These are powerful tools being given to us as aid in raising our frequency and assisting our expansions.

Raising our vibration and increasing our light is the most powerful defense we have against density, negativity and the turmoil happening in our world right now, around us.

Those of us walking the spiritual path are meant to be leaders, teachers and healers. We are meant to be warriors and way-showers.

Please stay hydrated with clean water, put your faces to the Sun, and stay centered in your heart space!

The importance of roots

So many of us walking this spiritual journey tend to become top heavy.

We focus our energies on expanding our third eye and consciousness. We find ourselves seeking more and more wisdom and insights. We pray for more downloads and enlightenment.

We find ourselves traveling down one adventurous rabbit hole after the other, reading books and diving into meditation.

We look for transcendence and ascension, searching the skies for signs and meaning.

All is good and important, but we forget a very important component...

We chose to awaken and expand on Earth in an earthly body. We cannot reach up without reaching down. What tree can survive with only branches and no roots?

Our body cannot exist in the upper chakras alone, we need the solar, sacral, root and earth star chakras. We need to ground and connect to Earth daily. We need to be in nature daily. We need to nourish our bodies with healthy nutrition and clean water daily.

We also need to connect to our Ancestors, plants, animals, family, friends and community. There needs to be a balance of expanding ourselves, branches and roots.

We chose to be HERE, so let's be HERE, feed our FEET as well as our MIND, only then is the HEART and SPIRIT in balance.
