❤️🚒 FISH FRY FOR MAKAYLA — LET’S COME TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY! 🚒❤️

The Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department is teaming up with our neighbors at Bon Secour Fire Department to support Makayla Shoenight, the 17-year-old daughter of Bon Secour Fire Chief Paul Shoenight, who is currently in critical condition at UAB following a medical emergency.

Chief Shoenight has spent so many years serving and protecting his community. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him and his family during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

Join us for a Fish Fry & Bake Sale on Saturday, November 7, 2026!

🐟 $13 per plate
🍽️ Fish, coleslaw & baked beans
🧁 Bake sale treats
🕥 Plates starting at 10:30 AM — while they last!
📍 Magnolia Springs VFD
14809 Gates Avenue, Magnolia Springs, AL 36555

All proceeds will go directly to support the Shoenight family during this difficult time.

Our Foley Sports Medicine family is rallying around one of our own, senior Makayla Shoenight—our Sports Medicine senior, HOSA President, and ATSA, who is in critical condition after a medical emergency on Friday.

Makayla is someone who leads with kindness, quietly shows up for others, and meets challenges with a persistence, perseverance, and grit that make us proud to call her one of our own. She is already following in the footsteps of her parents who have spent so much time pouring into the community, and now it’s our turn to surround her and her family with that same love and support.

We ask our Foley community, friends, and family to keep Makayla and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time. Please lift them up, send them encouragement, and remind them that they are not walking this road alone. If you are able, please reach out to Bon Secour Fire for ways you can help.

Makayla, your Foley family is behind you, cheering you on every step of the way. You have an entire community in your corner, and we are sending you so much love. One team, one family.
