Our Nursing Home Week was filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful memories here at Brightwood Center for both our residents and staff!

Monday – Tie-Dye & Italian Day
We kicked off the week with delicious Italian cuisine while residents and staff created colorful tie-dye shirts together.

Tuesday – Patriotic Pride Day
Everyone showed their patriotic spirit by wearing red, white, and blue. We enjoyed patriotic karaoke, held a special Veterans Dedication Ceremony at our new flag recognition area, and finished the day with our “Scooping Up Freedom” Ice Cream Social.

Wednesday – Blooming Besties Twin Day
Staff and residents teamed up with their favorite friend and dressed alike for Twin Day. A delicious Chinese lunch was provided for everyone to enjoy.

Thursday – Western Wildflower Day
We brought out our favorite western and country attire for a fun-filled day featuring dips, chips, crackers, and lots of smiles.

Friday – Flower Power Day
We wrapped up the week with a ballpark-style celebration complete with a barbecue lunch. Everyone proudly wore the tie-dye shirts they made earlier in the week, and DJ G Con provided music and entertainment for residents, families, and staff.

It was truly an amazing week full of joy, teamwork, and special moments. We appreciate all of our staff, residents, and families who participated and helped make Nursing Home Week such a success!

What a beautiful day it was at Brightwood Center as families gathered to celebrate Mother’s Day together. Residents and their loved ones enjoyed a special afternoon filled with love, laughter, and sweet memories while sharing “Muffins with Mom.” Moments like these remind us how precious time with family truly is.
