We planned our future the normal way...went to school, got good paying jobs, maxed out retirement funds and IRAs and watched our financial planners make money while the stock market and Uncle Sam took everything away. We realized we'd never retire if we didn't take control of our finances and stop letting circumstances and "normal investing" make other people wealthy. Today we have a real estate portfolio that will absolutely pay cash for our Kids college tuition at any university they choose. We're just beginning and are so excited to teach others how to overcome normal and start building wealth.

What a difference controlling our assets and investments has made. We will never go back to living like the rest of the 95% of the upper middle class. Life is much more fun when you get to watch your money work for you.

On a cold rainy day, a healthy soup just sounded good. Diced tomatoes, 1 box low sodium vegetable broth, rotisserie chicken chopped up, black eyed peas, spinach and quinoa, and black beans. Add a tablespoon of plain nonfat Greek yogurt, and voila.
