Learning safe, strong push-up mechanics starts with great core control. 💙💪
In this photo, our client is performing ball push-ups with handles — a challenging exercise that requires the body to engage all four layers of the abdominal muscles. The unstable surface forces the trunk to stay lifted and supported, preventing sagging as gravity tries to pull the body downward.
We use this exercise to help patients build the stability and alignment they need for safe, effective push-ups. It’s a powerful way to train core control before progressing to floor push-ups or higher-level strengthening.
A stronger foundation → safer movement → better long-term function.
