I always tell parents to “talk until you’re tired of hearing yourself talk! “ In addition, diversify your vocabulary when giving instructions and in every day language.

Thank you for this great tool to use with our little people. 👫Parents and teachers this is a great resource for you as well to help children understand our new way of communicating with a mask. 😉 it definitely takes practice and self-awareness to know if you are being an effective communicator when wearing a mask 😷

This right here!! ☝️☝️ We have all experienced difficulties hearing each other while wearing a mask 😷 BUT friends I can speak from experience with being a patient that oh boy is it HARD to hear medical professionals clearly AND the anxiety it causes when you can’t hear instructions and diagnosis!
Being that we are communication specialists we need to set an example for our peers and help our families be at ease when working with them. Be mindful and follow these great tips! 🗣
