Swen Joseph Rogeness, 62 formerly of Leland, Iowa, died in Klemme, Iowa on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Upon his wishes he was cremated and burial of his cremains will take place at a later date in Oakland Cemetery in Forest City with Veteran Honors performed by the Forest City American Legion Post #121.

Tamara L. Gudmonson, 56 of Leland passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026 with her husband, daughter and son-in-law by her side after a courageous battle with cancer, she now rests peacefully.

Upon her wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be planned in the future.

Sharon K. Renshaw, age 89 passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Good Samaritan Society in Forest City, IA.

A memorial service for Sharon will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Schott Funeral Home, 505 N. Clark St. in Forest City, with Mr. Harlan Nyhus officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Sharon's final resting place will be near Lake of the Woods in Canada. She will join her husband Fred.

A service celebrating Anna’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City, IA, with Pastor Zech Anderson officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:30 until service time at the church.

Burial will be at Linden Lutheran Cemetery in rural Thompson, IA.
