Many of you may have heard that Procter & Gamble has acquired Thorne for $3.8 billion. This news has naturally led to questions about whether Thorne’s products and quality standards will remain the same in the years ahead.

While it’s too early to know exactly what changes, if any, will occur, we believe it’s important to be proactive. Ever wondered why your chiropractor always checks your feet?

We're looking for a leg length inequality. This helps us determine whether you have what's called an anatomical short leg or a functional short leg.

Anatomical short leg: One leg bone is actually shorter than the other.

Functional short leg: The bones are the same length, but the leg appears shorter because the pelvis is tilted or there's a muscle imbalance somewhere between the foot and the pelvis.

This gives us valuable information about what's causing the imbalance and helps guide where we begin our assessment and treatment for the problem that brought you into our office.
