You can remember her and only that she is gone

Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back

Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

A Gentle Transition

The sun has set, yet not in sorrow,
For dawn still waits on Heaven’s shore.
Though we must walk this path of parting,
Love remains forevermore.

A life so full, a heart so giving,
A voice now rests, yet still speaks loud,
Through whispered memories, cherished moments,
And every soul made strong and proud.

God saw the road was growing weary,
The hills too steep, the burdens great,
So He closed those eyes so gently,
And said, “Come home, it is your fate.”

We grieve today, yet not without hope,
For faith declares this is not the end,
But just a peaceful, sacred crossing,
Where earth and Heaven softly blend.

So rest now sweetly, free from pain,
Your work on earth so fully done
Until we meet again in glory,
In the presence of the Holy One.
