Our office does not have a lactation consult on hand, however, we have a great list of resources and consultants for you! If you have questions regarding breastfeeding or feel that you need some help with it, please call our office and talk with a nurse! They can give you some good tips and information for consultants!

Certified lactation counselors, like Kathy James at Pediatrics at Newton Wellesley, are a valuable resource. They provide education, guidance, and compassion through the ups and downs of feeding your baby.

“Having lactation services within your pediatrician’s office says a lot about how they emphasize supporting new mothers on their breastfeeding journey. But at Pediatrics at Newton Wellesley, we also love to provide support for parents for whom breastfeeding does not work,” says Kathy.
