This patient came to us with severe cystic acne and scaring. The best treatment for this patient was to get him started on Isotretinoin, also known widely as Accutane, to prevent further scarring. His results were amazing. This patient is a perfect example of how well this medication can work when the patient and the provider work together.

Accutane is a safe treatment for severe acne when used properly. Isotretinoin, also known as Accutane, belongs to a family of medications called Retinoid, which are similar to vitamin A. It works not only by reducing the number of bacteria in sebaceous glands but works to decrease the size and output of the gland. This patient had amazing results that she and I are happy to share.

Isotreitinoin is typically initiated for severe scarring acne or after failed treatment on topical medications. Isotreitinoin treatment is time consuming and has side effects that should be discussed with your provider. As always, I am happy to evaluate you on an individual basis to see which treatment is right for you.

These pictures show before and after of cosmetic injections on a 44 year-old female with a moderate amount of fat loss in her face.

This patient came in complaining of tired dark circles and wanting to plump lips without being too obvious. Candi Carney, FNP-C injected 1 syringe of Vollure under the patient's eyes and 1 syringe of Juvederm to her lips. Candi also touched up nasal labial folds with the injections.

Both the patient and the patient's husband are extremely happy with her results. The patient's husband said filler is an art!
