We still have a few USDA food boxes available, as well as bags of fresh apples. The apples are not part of the USDA distribution, so feel free to stop by and pick up a bag while supplies last.

☀️ Good Morning Neighbors! ☀️

Come have breakfast with us this morning and connect with valuable community resources!🐔 FREE Chick-fil-A breakfast until 11:00 am!
Today, the SFC CARE Center is hosting USDA Food Distribution and welcoming representatives from the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center, a federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Education that helps individuals enroll in college, career training, and other higher education opportunities. We also have a few summer staples to help with the summer food budget( non USDA)
At the SFC CARE Center, we believe in helping our neighbors move forward. We are not just about handouts, we are about hand-ups, connecting individuals and families with resources that can create lasting opportunities and positive change. Participants must meet USDA eligibility guidelines and reside in St. Francis County.
We look forward to seeing you this morning!❤️ Serving our community with dignity, compassion, and hope. We are closing for lunch 12:15-1.

❤️ A COMMUNITY THANK YOU ❤️
If you see these hardworking residents of St. Francis County today, please take a moment to tell them thank you.
It is always a pleasure to witness people of all ages come together to support the mission of the CARE Center. Whether they are sorting donations, stocking shelves, assisting clients, unloading food, organizing events, or simply offering a kind word, their efforts help make a difference in the lives of so many.
Community ministry is never the work of one person. It takes volunteers, donors, partners, and caring neighbors working together to serve others.
Today, we celebrate and appreciate those who continue to show up with willing hands and generous hearts. Thank you for helping us strengthen our community, one act of kindness at a time. ❤️

📢 COMMUNITY UPDATE – PLEASE SHARE! 📢
Good morning, Neighbors!
While we do not have a large community giveaway this month, we will begin distributing USDA food on Monday, June 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and again on Wednesday until all food is distributed.
In addition to USDA food, we have received a shipment of fresh, juicy apples for our families. With many of our youth out of school for the summer, we wanted to make sure healthy snacks are available. We were also able to order some Easy Fixins meal items for anyone who may need a little extra help this month.
Please note that due to inventory limitations, the NEA Food Bank has informed us that USDA allocations are smaller than usual during June, but other distributions are scheduled (see fb page).
Also, don't forget that MaxMo's Summer Reading Program is still in full effect! Thanks to generous donations, we have a limited number of book bags filled with snacks and toothbrushes available for school-aged children.
📍 CARE Center Hours:
Monday & Wednesday: USDA Distribution, 9:30 a.m. – 1p.m.
Tuesday: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Please help us spread the word to those who may benefit from these resources. Together, we can continue supporting our community! ❤️

Good morning neighbors,
Please read this entire post carefully and share with anyone who may need the information. We want our community informed and prepared. ❤️
Reminder: The SFC CARE Center is NOT an alternative to LIHEAP funds. As many of you know, there may be future changes or restrictions to LIHEAP assistance offered through CRDC. Because of this, we want our community to clearly understand the difference between those programs and the purpose of the SFC CARE Center.
The SFC CARE Center is an Emergency Assistance Relief Program. This means assistance is intended for individuals or families who have been responsibly paying their bills, but suddenly experience an unexpected hardship such as:
• Job loss
• Death in the family
• Medical emergency
• Household crisis or disruption in income
If you know a sudden disruption will prevent you from paying a bill, please come see us BEFORE the situation becomes unmanageable.
Please also understand:
The (SFC CARE Center) Salvation Army and similar programs have restrictions. They typically do NOT cover:
• Deposits
• Late fees
• Reconnect fees
• Discount program fees
• Charges not honored by the utility company
Most programs only assist with the actual usage amount during the month the hardship occurred.
With funding programs changing, we strongly encourage everyone: if you have the money to pay your bills, please do not intentionally skip payments hoping LIHEAP or emergency funds will cover them later. Emergency assistance is designed for emergencies, not ongoing failure to pay. P
