Join us in welcoming Michael, the newest addition to the RHCC provider team! He has been a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) since 1999, with the majority of his career spent caring for patients in urgent and emergency care settings.

Michael enjoys caring for patients of all ages, with a particular passion for pediatrics. As a father of five, he understands firsthand the challenges parents face when caring for children who are sick, and he strives to provide families with compassionate, practical, and reassuring care.

He also has a strong interest in men’s health and hopes to focus on providing comprehensive healthcare for men throughout every stage of life. Michael is excited to bring his years of experience, passion for patient care, and personal perspective to the RHCC team.

🎉 That's a wrap! Our second Stepping On group has officially crossed the finish line! 💙

We celebrated with cinnamon rolls from Rusty Dog Antiques, and they were SO good! 😍 We can't promise cinnamon rolls prevent falls, but they sure are a sweet way to celebrate! 😆

This group specifically said they learned about

❄️ Simple, affordable tricks to prevent wintertime falls
👀 The importance of regular vision checks
💪 Daily exercises to improve strength and balance
📅 Building strong routines to support safety and independence

We’re so proud of this group for showing up, learning together, and taking steps toward staying active and independent! One participant said she lives at home and would like to remain there, if that is you or someone you know. Reach out to Rachel at RHCC or Heaven at the Forsyth Senior Citizens Center to get on the list for our next program!

💙 Help us give a warm RHCC welcome to Alicia, our new therapist!
If you didn't get to meet her at our Health Fair yesterday, you missed out! 👋 We're excited to welcome Alicia to our team and have her compassion and experience here to support our community.

Alicia has experience supporting individuals navigating mental health challenges, crisis, substance use, co-occurring concerns, and other complex life circumstances. With advanced training in EMDR and IFS, she values a person-centered approach that recognizes each individual's strengths, experiences, and potential for growth.

Her goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to build resilience, develop practical tools, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

A little about Alicia outside of work: she loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and going on adventures with her two children. Add in good coffee, music, and plenty of reasons to laugh, and you've got a pretty good picture of what makes her happy! ☕🎶

We're so happy to have you here, Alicia! Help us give her a big welcome to our community! 👏💙
