🍁✨ What a BUSY and FUN day at Reena Senior Living yesterday! ✨🍁

We kicked off the morning by welcoming the Jefferson County Progressive Tour! 🏡💙 A huge thank you to Tina from Bluestone Physician Services, Raegan from FOX Rehabilitation, and Dawn from Capri Communities for organizing such a wonderful event and bringing everyone together!

🎉 And a BIG congratulations to Maddie from Heartland Hospice on winning our door prize! 🏆🎁

🎨🧶 Then it was time to get crafty!

Our talented residents showed off their creativity at our Resident Craft & Hobby Show! From beautiful handmade creations to unique hobbies, it was so much fun seeing everyone’s talents on display!

📚✨ Resident Spotlight: Meet Author Richard Wanie! ✨📚

We are so excited to celebrate one of our very own Reena residents, Richard Wanie! ❤️

Richard is a retired School District of Fort Atkinson science teacher who recently finished writing his book, "Rainy Day!" 📖

His book shares stories of growing up in Wisconsin, with a special focus on hunting, fishing, and the memories and adventures that come with them! 🦌🎣🌲

We are so proud of Richard and this wonderful accomplishment!

We had a VERY special visitor stop by Reena — Bucky Badger! 🎉 Our residents were all smiles getting to spend some time with one of Wisconsin’s most famous faces! 🥰

Our residents were treated to a wonderful performance by Tapestry, a talented ensemble that weaves together American roots, bluegrass, folk, Celtic, and traditional country music into one unforgettable sound!

There were plenty of toe-taps, smiles, and familiar tunes filling the room. 🎵 We loved spending the afternoon enjoying great music and even better company!

A big thank you to Tapestry for sharing your talents with us and making our day a little more musical! 💕🎶

We may be a little late sharing our Assisted Living Week fun… but that’s only because we were way too busy living in the moment! ☀️💛

Last week was JAM-PACKED with activities, laughter, music, treats, and so many good memories — and now we’re finally catching up and sharing all the fun!

We kicked off the week with a little Sunshine & Smiles, soaking up the happy vibes while enjoying some refreshing lemonade. 🍋☀️

Then we turned back the clock and transported everyone straight to the 1950s! 🎶🕺 We were absolutely Soda-lighted to serve up some delicious dirty sodas while listening to the best sock-hop hits and reminiscing about the good old days. 🥤🎵

And trust us… this was only the beginning! Stay tuned because we have LOTS more Assisted Living Week memories to share! 💛

Our friends at Kettle Park Senior Living in Stoughton are competing in the Spark Challenge World Championship TODAY at 1:00 PM! 🏆🔥

We watched them compete in the finals on Tuesday and had an absolute blast — and let’s just say, we were VERY impressed. 👏 Their team brought the energy, the talent, and the fun!

70 years of marriage and Joe & Helen have officially let us in on the secret… 🍫🍷🍺❤️

A little chocolate, a good glass of w**e, an ice-cold b**r, and—most importantly—great company. 🥰

After 70 years together, these two still know how to enjoy the simple things and make an ordinary evening feel pretty special. Joe & Helen are already looking forward to many more nights like this—and they can’t wait to enjoy our updated patio coming this fall! 🍂✨
