We’re excited to announce that Bloom’s project has been selected as an awardee of the Larimer County Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund Grant Program!

This funding allows us to continue providing free and sliding-fee individual and group therapy for community members who need financial support, with a special focus on youth in Larimer County. In 2025, this project made it possible for dozens of individuals to maintain access to individual therapy during gaps in insurance coverage at little to no cost. We also offered free and reduced-fee group therapy throughout the year to anyone facing financial barriers.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue this important work in 2026. If you encounter a lapse in insurance coverage or need financial support for group therapy services, please reach out—we’re here to help.

✨ Meet the team: Monica Bruzza (she/her)

◽ Monica is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student with a background in nursing, bodywork, and bodymind-based grief support.

◽ Specialties: recovery, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and major life transitions

◽ Approach: relational and holistic, weaving together mindfulness, somatic awareness, and the healing power of nature and community

Get to know Monica:

Q: What is your favorite dish/meal?
A: 🌮 I love so many kinds of food, but if I had to choose just one favorite, it would definitely be t-a-c-o-s + all the accoutrements — guacamole, please!

Q: If you could be an animal for a day, what would you be?
A: 🐶I’d be Wrigley, my own dog, for a day if I could! We’d have a big outdoor adventure, followed by equally epic snuggles and treats.

Q: Favorite concert you’ve been to?
A: 🎶Oh gosh, this is a tough one! I’ve been fortunate to see some amazing shows. Top two: Dolly Parton, 3rd row at Red Rocks — I cried a little bit the entire time. Also, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats at a festival in Japan during a typhoon (read: hurricane). It was wild!

Q: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
A: My favorite way to spend a day off is outside — soaking in hot springs ♨️, gardening in my yard 👩‍🌾, spending time on a trail 🏔️, stretching 📿 , collage journaling 🖼️, and eating good food 🌮. Whether solo or with loved ones, it’s all about nature and connection.
