Catholic Charities Marisol Family hosted a special Bucket Distribution, providing 72 emergency-preparedness buckets to moms and families in our Colorado community. These buckets—filled with essentials like hammers, gloves, safety glasses, cleaners, utility knives and more—were generously donated through our partnership with ToolBank to help families stay prepared during unexpected challenges. The distribution took place alongside our Catholic Charities Marisol Miles event, where families also received diapers, wipes and other baby supplies. Marisol Miles is our mobile outreach truck that travels across the region to areas where we don’t have physical locations, meeting families where they are and providing critical baby essentials. We are incredibly grateful to ToolBank for this generous donation. A heartfelt thank you to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish for hosting a beautiful Ladies Tea in support of Catholic Charities Marisol Health! ☕️ The event was filled with warmth, community and a wonderful presentation from The Little Rose Shop, whose creativity added a special touch to the day. Guests described the gathering as a true “work of heart,” and we couldn’t agree more. All proceeds directly support the women and families we serve at Marisol Health and we are so grateful for the parish’s generosity, compassion and commitment to supporting the families we serve. Marisol Health provides women’s healthcare, counseling and family support services—including gynecological, prenatal, delivery and postpartum care. At Catholic Charities Marisol Family St. Joseph in Fort Collins, a devoted group of volunteers brings kindness, hospitality and steady support to every parent and child who walks through our doors. 💛 These volunteers welcome families at the door and guide them through the full Marisol Family experience — from helping them with their intake to providing diapers, clothing and essential baby supplies. They also lovingly organize the boutique at this location, a space where parents can “shop” for free clothing items for their little ones. Because of these incredible women, the boutique feels warm, inviting and dignified — a place where families can choose what they need with comfort and confidence. Their presence ensures every visit feels personal, respectful and filled with compassion. This Volunteer Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating these women who keep this ministry running with grace and heart. Their dedication is a blessing to the families we serve, our staff and the entire Catholic Charities community. With more than 58,000 volunteer hours given each year across Catholic Charities ministries, volunteers like these ladies make our mission possible — and we are deeply grateful. We’re sending a huge thank you to the Once Upon A Child - Centennial, CO community for their continued support! 💛 For years, they have faithfully donated children’s clothing and essential baby items to Catholic Charities Marisol Services—and this time they went above and beyond. Their “Bring a Gift, Get a Gift” event invited customers to donate new baby supplies in exchange for a discount while shopping in the store and the response was incredible. Thanks to their generosity, we received diapers, breast pumps, baby bath tubs and so much more—all of which will support moms at upcoming baby showers at Catholic Charities Marisol Homes. Marisol Homes provides safe, secure shelter for pregnant women and single mothers with children, offering maternity care, case management, child care support and classes that help families build stability and confidence as they begin a new chapter. Our team loved being onsite (cupcakes included!) to thank Kris, the store owner and meet the amazing customers who donated. We’re truly grateful for partners who champion mothers, babies and families we serve. 🍼✨

We’re honored to highlight one of our incredible volunteers — Marc. 💙 After nearly 30 years teaching theology, Marc wasn’t ready to stop connecting with others. Instead, he found a new way to serve at Catholic Charities Marisol Family and Little Flower Assistance Center, where he spends his time walking alongside the families we serve. Over the years, Marc has become a steady, familiar presence — building relationships, offering kindness and showing genuine care to every person he meets. Through his volunteer service, he’s encountered individuals from 31 different countries, each carrying a story of courage, resilience and love for family. Whether he’s greeting someone in French with the one phrase he knows or sharing a smile with familiar faces week after week, Marc finds connection in even the smallest moments. No matter the language barrier or how brief the interaction, he meets everyone with dignity and compassion. Marc’s life has always reflected service — from decades in the classroom to being honored with the Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice — and even in retirement, that commitment continues to shine.
