"They'll grow out of it."

So many of the parents who come to us have heard some version of this. From a teacher at conferences to a grandparent at Sunday dinner. It's usually said kindly, and sometimes waiting really is the right call.

But here's what we see again and again: when the questions stick around, kids start answering them on their own: "I must be lazy," "I'm just not smart." Those stories can quietly shape how a child sees themselves for years.

Understanding how your child learns and thinks isn't about finding something wrong; it's about replacing guesswork with a real picture of their strengths and their challenges, so the people around them know how to help.

You can't go back and know sooner.

We hear some version of this in almost every first call: the parent who wonders why they didn't ask questions in second grade, the adult in their forties who spent decades assuming everyone found things this hard, the family who noticed changes in Mom a year before anyone said it out loud.

Nobody gets to test at the perfect moment. Most people come to us at the point where wondering is no longer manageable.

That's still early enough for the answer to be useful.

Knowing now changes what happens next. 💙

Testing doesn't just measure what's hard.

Most people come to us with a list of what isn't working; the homework that takes three hours, the meetings that fall apart, the thing someone has been told to try harder at for years.

All of that belongs in the report, but it's only half of it.

A strengths-based evaluation also looks at what you do well and how you already work around the hard parts. The systems you built without realizing it, the settings where things click, the skills that have been quietly carrying you this whole time.

That matters, because the recommendations that actually stick are the ones built on what's already there.

You leave with a fuller picture of yourself: One that takes every part of you into account 💙
